I have no clue where TS3 creative corner is, I hope they put it back. If the mods need to move it, so be it, thanks.

I thought about creating this lot a couple of years ago as part of Briah's story
This is a new lot I recently made, partly inspired by the Social Worker career mod at mod the Sims. All of the info is on my blog.
I decided to build this lot as a place of employment for my Sim, Ciara Ford. I was inspired by the Social Care (Social Worker) mod at Mod the Sims.
The Department of Family Services is a state run department designed to meet the needs of the citizens in your town. Maybe your Sims have fallen on hard times and needs government assistance to buy food, pay bills, or find affordable housing. 30 x 30 lot, made it Hidden Springs, can use in any world. The custom content included is in package form, the lot is a Sims 3 Pack.
The services provided:
*Job Listings
*Section 8 & Low Income Housing
*Food Stamps/EBT
*Medical/Dental & Obamacare
*Adult Computer Classes & Resumé Building Workshops
*Arts & Crafts
*College Classes Planning Workshop
*After school childcare & tutoring
*WIC Office (Women, Infant, and Children) Vouchers for specific dietary needs
*Food Pantry/Food Bank
*Psychological and family counseling services
Our social and case workers are here to assist you in signing up for various government benefits that you and your family may qualify for.
I had to correct the painting at the front desk, I re-uploaded the lot
Once your Sim arrives to the Dept of Family Services, they are to take a ticket (decor only) and wait in line to be called up to see an intake specialist. (Some of these pictures were taken before I changed some things around in the office, such as adding more windows)
Depending on the need of your Sim, they may need to see one of the case worker supervisors who can better coordinate the services they may be eligible for.
Ciara helps her clients sign up with various state social welfare programs available to them.
One of the intake specialists, helps this mother to be sign up for welfare. (The applications on the table are cloned from DSHS of WA state where I’m originally from) Section 8, HUD, and low income housing listings are on the wall behind them.
Ciara informs these mothers of the food stamp program, commonly know as SNAP. The EBT/Medicaid cards on the the table in the second picture I cloned from WA State.
Job listings and the Job Center is available to anyone.
Upstairs, you’ll find the WIC office &Food Pantry/Food Bank. You first see the intake specialist who will issue your voucher so you can get food from the grocery store. You are welcome to get food from the food pantry as well, even if you do not have WIC.
After school childcare and tutoring is available on the second floor.
If you use the psych career mod, counseling services are available.
The Arts & crafts room is available to all. Your Sims can also research college classes and socialize with other Sims.

Awesome and I am one bad builder player that really appreciates builders who have continued to create for sims 3, that said I had no real idea where to look and find new builds until I was directed to the following creative showcase thread where you can add your builds and download link
http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories/creative-corner
@SPARKY1922 Cool! Thank you so much, I'll make sure to add it to that thread.
You are welcome I am currently browsing that thread as I type lol
The Claw Machine Diaries Challenge
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind
Thank you!
Awwwh, thank you I appreciate it!
I only found out that a creative corner was still available a fortnight or so ago as its quite difficult to find if you are not sure where to look however once I found the thread I bookmarked it and will remind myself to look in once a fortnight or so for new builds. I love looking at pics and downloading player made builds and am just so grateful to Sims 3 builders have not completely disappeared and have continued to create and supply us all with great builds to use

The social care (social worker) career mod is optional for this lot. I was inspired to build a place of employment for my Sim, Ciara after I started using the mod. All the information is located on my blog.

Wanna know how to prove I paid attention and studied every picture. This is actually funny and cracked me up.I am very attentive
The Hidden Springs pizza delivery girl Ria Gade is the one applying for section 8 housing. Apparently now we know what happens as a result of our sims not tipping.
(green skirt, polka dotted pale green top) 6th picture from the top.
LOL, that's great, I had no idea she was the pizza delivery girl.
EDIT Btw LasummerB Ria Gade is one of the prettiest premade townies out there, not kidding. She goes in all my towns.
Default Ria below..yupp this is the pizza delivery girl NPC..looks like a Chinese supermodel when made over.Worth adding to library
LOL, you get cookies and a muffin basket.
Wow, she is pretty, I never noticed her until I added her to my lot.
@Okblondee7 Thank you, Initially when I thought about making it two years ago, it was for my story, but I never got around to it. I do plan on eventually adding it into Briah's Story at some point. For now, I like using it as Ciara's place of employment w/ the social worker and psych career mods. They're normally rabbithole career jobs, but w/ Zerbu's ultimate career mod, you can assign any lot as a place of employment.
eta: I also made a GameStop in the same block. It's so cool and adds oodles of realism to the town. I use Create a Pattern tool to make wallpaper for the signs. So much darn fun! This is another reason why I could never switch to Sims 4, so many more options to customize in Sims 3.
@Slyvanas
Thank you so much for your support.
@lasummerb No problem, and thank you as well! I'd love to post some pics (already took pics of the lot), but I need to copy and transfer them to my flash drive so I can post them on this laptop. So it might take a few hours because I'm slow. Thank you again! And btw you did an amazing job on your particular lot! Edit: whoops, already said earlier that you did an amazing job! Hahahaha
Didn't take pics of the interior because it's kinda boring; also I didn't build the actual building, it came with Appaloosa Plains in Pets EP. I just remodeled it.
Anyhow I'm sorta proud of my GameStop:

And that's it! Thanks for asking to see pics of my lots.
