If you can't get MC working after the latest patch, here are some things for you to look at and/or try:

First, make sure your game version matches these from the most recent update:

Sims4 Update: 01/07/2016 – PC Version 1.14.49.1020 / Mac Version 1.14.49.1220

From the MCCC Files page: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=551680

Woohoo at SXS is still 2.4.0, it did *not* need re-updated.

Here's my best suggestion: Whether you have MC dropped into /Mods or in /Mods/MC (for example), you need to DELETE *all* your MC files (handy list of filenames above ^^) EXCEPT your mc_settings.cfg file. If you're doing a new install (welcome to MC!), you won't have this file till AFTER you get the mod installed and have accessed it via an in-game computer.

THEN, download the McCmdCenter_AllModules_2_x_x.zip, Open it, Select All files, and Copy To... wherever your settings file is, /Mods or /Mods/MC (etc).

Then, fire up your game. Make sure the TWO "Mods" check boxes dealing with scripts/mods on the left side of last Game Options tab are both checked. This is New, it was just one box until recently.

On your way in, check to see that your MC files show up in the cc/script mods popup window.

In the game, check your MC install by going onto a lot (MC won't work from map view, but it works from any "live" home or community lot, you just need a computer) and typing mc_help into the cheat bar, because that is literally ALL you should need to do to make it work.

If you don't get the expected "wall of text" cheat bar output, take a screenshot of what you DO see in that window and post it here:

http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/837115/need-help-with-mc-command-center-settings-ask-here#latest .

I'm interested.

Hope this helps! :)

    UPDATE: 12/18/15

    MC 2.3.0 was released: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=551680

    Sims4 Update: 12/17/2015 – PC Version 1.13.106.1010 / Mac Version 1.13.106.1210

Steps to install are basically the same as below, if you use the 2.3.0 AllModules file. (Still no Dresser.)

Screenshot of MC 2.3.0 installed is posted to my MC Help thread, here:

If you can't get MC working after the 12/4 patch, here are some things for you to look at and/or try:

First, make sure your game version matches these from the 12/4 update:

    Update: 12/04/2015 – PC Version 1.13.104.1010 / Mac Version 1.13.104.1220

IF you have NOT UPDATED, you NEED the MC 2.2.0 files. If you HAVE updated, they WILL NOT WORK, and you NEED the 2.2.2 file. Only the BOTTOM zip file.

From the MCCC Files page: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=551680

View Contents McCmdCenter_AllModules_2_2_2.zip | Description: One zip file with all of the scripts and the main package file. MC Dresser is not supported in the Hotfix yet as it is blocked by a bug in the core code EA is looking into. 395.5 KB 6,978 6th Dec 2015

    Package file Size Type Description
    mc_cmd_center.package 200,323 Unknown

    8309 2015-12-05 14:39 mc_career.ts4script
    26474 2015-12-05 14:40 mc_cleaner.ts4script
    200323 2015-11-26 22:42 mc_cmd_center.package
    147032 2015-12-06 12:59 mc_cmd_center.ts4script
    8782 2015-12-05 14:40 mc_gedcom.ts4script
    26136 2015-12-05 14:41 mc_population.ts4script

    6356 2015-12-05 14:42 mc_tuner.ts4script

You'll notice the package file is still dated November 26, that's fine (no new strings added). But the rest of them are all dated for at least 12/5 or 12/6. (This dropped on my birthday, 12/6, folks! )
