Well, I think I did something Stupid

I had to have the hard drive on my iMac replaced and now I can't reinstall Sims 3 because none of my game show up in Origin. Including the Base Game. I now get the message "Unable to Start Game Service Initialization Failed" with a series of numbers after that. *sigh*. And I can't get the game to start from either Time Machine Backups or restart.

Oh no :( Weird that you're getting the error when the game isn't even installed on your Mac. Can EA not help with the games not showing up in Origin?

I wasn't sure. I'll contact them and see. At least I can still reinstall some games from Amazon Digital. :)

Thankfully, I found my Sims 3 on Origin (they have a new filing system for the game) and so all I had to do was uninstall and reinstall the Base game and all the EPs/SPs and restore my Sims 3 Documents folder from Time Machine. So yay! All my Sims are back and safe and sound. B)
