I really wanna change my embarrassing username and profile picture but I have no idea how. Someone help! also it is still saying I am a new member even though I have been a member for two years. How long until I can be a regular member? Thank you anyone who can help me :)
Once you have 30 posts/comments you can change your picture and are no longer considered a new member. As for your username, I'm not sure if you can change it.

YUP, I've seen this thread. Already seen your post to other people. Whereabouts do I find my points though?

Hello.
When you click on your user name, that will take you to your wall /profile page. On the left hand side of the page , under your Avi picture, there is a place where it says how many points that you have. At the moment, you have 17 points.
I'm a forum member of 4 years but not very active, mother of 4 kids full time job... lol - I read that you can send a msg to SimGuruDrake to request a username change, but you can only change it once, so I just barely sent that person a message

Hello @285723372W32
You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, edit posts , send pm messages , post links and change your profile picture. This thread explains about it. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/770609/member-or-new-member-everything-you-need-to-know
It would be best to post your message on her wall about wanting to change your user name.
Happy simming!
Revealing your age is against the rules so you better change your post before you get a warning
why does the sims care if you say your age?
Because it's considered as personal information. And since age falls into personal information, it is against the forum rules.
- Please do not post personal information (i.e. your age, contact info, personal pictures, etc.). We have many community members who are underage and we need to do our best to protect them.
I've seen threads made asking for members ages as the person who started the thread wanted to get a good idea of what age groups play the Sims only for the thread to be deleted since it goes against the rules.
This is more of a question, and since it doesn't pertain to either specific game, I thought I'd post it here. It's more of an EA/Origin wide issue I'm having. Can anyone tell me why I'm showing one username here on the forums (Ladygaz) and another username on all of the other EA and Origin sites? How do I change the username here to match the one that I am using on the other places, the one that I want to be using?

Haha thank you for that. Still getting used to all the rules of the forum I guess (I don't know why age is a big deal)
