Honestly, I don't need sign something that I know for sure is already in development. The producer Graham Nardone has said a few years ago, in ModTheSims forum, that The Sims 3 Pets Expansion Pack was in development since the base game was released in 2009. The point is that an expansion pack about animals is always a of which take longer to develop, and I do not need to explain why, right? Let's take it easy! The Sims 3 Pets was released two and a half years after the base game release, because its very complex.

The Sims 2 Pets is the 4th expansion of The Sims 2.
The Sims 3 Pets is the 5th expansion for The Sims 3.
I do not think it will be different in The Sims 4. The issue is that we are just talking about an expansion that takes longer to be developed in The Sims.
I'm eagerly anticipating the Pets EP and since it's one of the most popular EPs in the past Sims Versions I'm sure they will release one eventually. However I'm signing to show I want it though
I'll sign. I really want at least cats and dogs back. With the ability to create kittens and puppies in create-a-sim, and more dog sizes (small, medium, large, and maybe extra large for things like great danes).
put me in it also I want Pets!!! IRL I have a diva cat. that was a stray and now she is super spoiled. I want it that if you get a stray you have to options to name the pet and spoil it big time with the want of buying pet toys and collars and clothes for the pets
Signed! We NEED cats dogs and horses. I've counted my played families in ts4 and over half of then need pets to function. There are even a few households that I refuse to play without pets. I can live without toddlers because at least our sims can have children. Please EA, pets would make our sims' lives whole.
But really, I would love to see them go a different direction entirely.
How about a "farm life" expansion or something similar where you can run a farm! Have dogs, cats, chickens, cows, and other farm animals! Milk the cows, gather eggs, have to feed them!
And oh my goodness! If cows and cowplants can build a relationship! HOW CUTE would that be? Cows get a positive moodlet when grazing near a cowplant or something!
And be able to do rodeo tricks on a horse! Oh EA, please!

I also want to see Seasons, Apartment Life and Superstar have a Sims 4 counterpart, as well as more professions added to Get To Work. I mean, there are just so many times I wanna see my sims become doctors, policemen or scientists!
