Black flowers and herbs

Just upgraded the Sims 4 to the current August patch, plus Spa Day / Kitchen stuff and noticed that all the flowers and herbs growing in my garden have black produce on them. The bushes / plants are still green but when the flowers or herbs appear, they are just black. It's as if they've lost their texture. Tried reinstalling, clearing caches and removing all custom content, problem still exists.

Anyone else seen this?

I am having the exact same problem, in fact it was the reason I came to these forums. I hope it will be fixed soon since my sim is mostly gardening.

Thanks for the updates guys, it's clear that this is not a local issue for me now. Not that it helps the community, but it removes my worries about my installation.

This has also happened in my garden. I'm listing the ones that seem to have the problem, as many of them don't.

Totally Black (the fruit/flower, not the plant itself)
Spinach
Parsley
Basil
Sage
Snapdragon
Chrysanthemum
Bluebell
Daisy
Rose
Bird of Paradise

Brown or Reddish-Brown (again, plant itself is okay)
Lily
Tulip
Orchid
Death Flower

All the others are beautiful, including all the trees. There were three I couldn't check as they hadn't bore fruit yet:
Blackberry
Intergalactic Space Pod (but I think that one's okay)
Cowberry (spliced plant)

Does anyone have anything different?

Edit: I guess I should mention I have no mods or CC.

Thankyou for listing the plants that have been affected in your game. @Simberella777. It is helpful for EA knowing which plants are the ones that are being affected.

yippy! folks are reporting the fix comes about after harvesting the dark flowers/fruits

I was SOOSOOO glad when this "black flowers and produce" bug was fixed seral weeks ago, but recently I noticed that SOME plants have black flowers again. On the bright side, the daisy bushes still have nice, big flowers on them, and I'm using them as landscaping items! :-)

are they a new harvest since the patch fix. see if after harvesting them the new crop are correct in color.

Hello.
Are the plants in your garden or are they growing wild? If they are growing wild, try the option to " remove wild plants" and when they grow back, they may not be black again.
If they are in your garden, see if after you have harvested the plant, the next harvest is not black.
