"That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero." - Stan Lee
My little cousin has been messaging me recently about his upcoming wedding, but with the new way Facebook Messenger is set up, I'm seeing every picture/video we've ever sent each other on the side bar, dating back to when he was just a dorky little kid. Now he's a grown man with a good job and a fiancee, and we're talking about wedding preparations and music cues and where his in-laws will sit, and right next to the conversation this entire time is a video of him at 12 years old getting hit in the junk with a high-speed basketball and then falling over laugh-weeping. The juxtaposition pleases me.
I got to have my hair colored at the salon earlier today. After having it dark blonde or light brown for a long time, I decided to go a bit lighter to a medium blonde. It turned out really nice and I love how shiny it looks.
I'm just so... happy today. No particular reason, just happiness. For some reason I find myself almost unable to stop smiling, and there's this soft pleasant sensation in my entire self. Such a good day.
Add a dab of lavender to milk, leave town with an orange and pretend you're laughing at it.
Getting word that my 12 year old nephew is going to be okay. He fell while playing basketball at school the other day and hit his head. He ended up at the hospital after dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Pretty severe concussion and nasty headache, but he will be fine.
