Patio stuff not showing in game

I downloaded and installed the stuff pack and every time I go to play it says I don't have the content idk what to do

I can see that I have it when I click the little i symbol it colored in

Try exiting the game, then open Origin and start the game from the Patio pack.

If you are still having problems, shut down your computer completely. Start up the computer, log in to Origin, and press play from where the picture of Perfect Patio is.
If the items are still not in the game, right click the Perfect Patio picture and click repair.

finally updated my game... even repaired it.... even bought the new stuff pack with the hot tubs..... made my family.. bought the house to live in and guess what???

My sims are no where to be found. .. their pictures are missing on the side nothing. Time runs but my sims are gone. I can't even click on anything to make them appear. Someone please help me. The only thing I can see is the house I bought and the bar at the bottom. Nothing else. No small sim heads nothing.
