One of the pretty new dresses has weird cleavage «123...Next Go

One of my big pet peeves with some CC is when they paint the cleavage area in a dress but actually leave it flat, not make it look real. I noticed with one of the dresses in Luxury Party Stuff is like that. The other things aren't. Just the one dress. Here's what I'm talking about:


It looks so weird when she's turned to the side! The other low cut clothes don't do that. It's annoying because I like that dress. This shirt is more low cut than the dress and they didn't do that for it. It looks nice

I agree, I wonder if they can fix it in a patch. My sims won't wear that one much. Have you tried it on flat chested sims yet?

I noticed that too...it only works with flat chested sims. :-( I'm really enjoying the other new fashions. Once I got used to the sparkles, they weren't that over-the-top gaudy, well, except the men's suits...holy wow!

I'm sure it is fine on sims with a smaller bust. I hope they do. I know its probably not high on the list of priorities but it looks so crappy. It isn't even smooth in the middle too. There is a pretty obvious corner that is popping out and making it look bad.

That dress does look a bit rushed compared to the other ones. I love all the other fashions but the men's suit were a little to flashy for me.

I don't like that dress, the cleavage painted on was the first thing I noticed about it. I hate it when they do that with clothes.

It's sad because other than that, I love that dress! I really hope they fix it. I doubt it though

Ehem. Back on topic.. I didn't notice that until these pictures.. Hopefully that gets a fix soon! I know some CC Creators could probably fix it, but hopefully EA does as well since I know a lot of people don't like downloading content. Also, is it just me.. or is that dress ... textures a little.. faded? I think Luxury Party stuff has gorgeous creations, but this dress... just doesn't seem to fit well with the other textures.. they're all so gorgeous looking... and this one just seems off to me..



I think it looks really good as white, but all the other colors.. look.. I don't know..

Ok so I looked at the mesh in Blender and it looks like its supposed to be an illusion neckline. It doesn't translate like that in the game though. I'm trying to see if there's anything I can do to fix it, but seeing as I haven't made much yet, I don't know if I will. I bet some of the seasoned creators could fix it easily.

I can't believe this dress was approved for release. It's so obviously rushed and very poorly done. It could be a beautiful dress but it NEEDS to be fixed. The reputation of future content relies on it. Why would I buy any future stuff packs if we're just going to get junk like this randomly thrown in?

Wow! On my sims it doesn't look that bad - i even didn't notice anything until this topic. Both of my females that i tried it on have small breast size - and it looks ok. But i thought it's too open and i would like it more if the dress wouldt have that low cut - it's showing too much - not my preference

I would also like to see an official fix for the dress but would love a CC fix in the meantime.

Hmmm... I had to google but can see what you're saying. It makes more sense that the cleavage is painted on if it's supposed to look like sheer fabric is covering it.

I've been working on it and it actually looks pretty good. There are a few things I want to tweak on it still though. I'll put a link to the download when I finish it.

Ok so I actually fixed the dress. I'm pretty proud of it because I'm really really new at modding lol. I think it looks pretty good! I made some recolors of it too. What do you think? Are there any colors that anyone wants before I post it?
