Reconstructing Earlier Builds

I reached a point where I looked at my earlier starter builds and thought, "What if I make it look better? Maybe cheaper even?"

I tried doing that with the very first house I shared to the Gallery called Modern Burrow. As you can see, it looks really meh, and I didn't even change the roof tiles.



This starter costs around 17k.

Then I reviewed the lot and realized that I used too many expensive and unnecessary materials (like expensive windows, too many lights, and too many garden stones), so I simplified some elements and made the front look more presentable. Adding a bit more color made it really pop out.



Now it costs only around 15k and looks way better than it was before. I'll be uploading it to the Gallery soon.

Have any of you tried doing the same thing with your earlier builds?

Your new version of Modern Burrow looks very nice! The green roofing edging and the colour/texture of the roofing, chimney and exterior walls looks very nice! The hedging adds a great look to the home! Very nice water feature! The shape of the water area looks nice, and the placement of lavender in the nook area adds a nice touch. The addition of the roofing over the front path looks great! It looks nice how you have changed the colour of the door.
The new updated version looks great!
