Next Expansion Pets? «1234...Next Go

Could pets be the next expansion? I saw other people saying they normally put clues in the game as what it could be.

Yes!!! we need cats, how I am I suppose to make my Sim self without tons of cats.

I hope Pets is coming soon...if not in the 2nd expansion,maybe in the 3rd or 4th expansion. I feel like my Sims families are not complete without pets running around. But I think that's because I am a total animal lover in real life and can't imagine not having at least one pet in my home

I hope seasons expansion first but I would love to see a pet Expansion too (only if we got something more similar with sims 2. I think it's more funny if we can't directily control pets)

Yeah same hopefully we get more then just dogs though, I would not buy a expansion if it only had dogs.

Hmm I have never been a big fan of seasons, so that's why I hope its pets But I never had seasons in TS2 so maybe it was better back then.

In order for a baby to ride a dog, toddlers would have to be patched into the base. If pets or seasons gets released without toddler interactions, I would be very upset and won't be interested in the Sims 4 at all. Those are the two EPs I really want toddlers expanded on like they were in the Sims 2. Plus imagine what pets will be like with babies as objects. I could see pets tied to kennels and be objects too. EA never did figure out the multitasking while holding anything. Imagine the puppies and kittens being tied to objects.

Great. I can put a crazy old lady with 7 cats in my neighborhood. Also i will have a family of noble werewolves. Imagine the possibilities!

I don't think they would make pets objects like babies are, or at least I hope they don't. The game has already had to many bad reviews, so I doubt they would do something as stupid as making pets objects.

Well the holding objects while multitasking issue hasn't been addressed yet, so it's a high possibility especially with the excuse of not pulling a baby out of the behind. Adult pets might be ok, but I don't have much hope for the baby animals not being tied to objects especially when interacting with Sims. It was something mentioned in another thread by someone else. I was like oh no, our poor pets. A lot of silly things have been done that don't make sense for the Sims 4, so I wouldn't be shocked if it occurred with pets. It's not like our Sims can interact with fish or frogs anyway. Plus those squirrels in OR. I'm very worried about pets. I don't think it will be the next expansion since Gurus mentioned the bear being an animal taking two years to code. Previous pets expansions have taken years to develop as well in the series.

Hmm I guess either way they would have complaints, like if they did make the pets stuck in kennels etc. they would have a lot of complaints, but then if they were playable, people would be all like "you could make our pets playable, but not the babies". Either way, I just want the pets to be playable

Well if it is I won't need it. That's the EP that really messed up TS3.

That's true. Like the saying darn if you do darn if you don't. I really wish the Sims could walk around the neighborhood with the baby in the stroller while walking the dog. It will be sad that pets probably won't be able to interact with babies. My cat is always checking on my baby nephew. Why I don't like babies being objects.

Since there isn't an open world, I have a feeling horses would not be included in the next pets ep. I wouldn't want it it if it didn't have horses. That's one reason I continue to play the sims 3.
