I know it's a crazy time for a lot of us (myself included) but with the reopening of Sensation Magazine we are bringing back this fabulous competition!
This competition is a fashion competition that results in the winner being on the cover of the magazine for one or more issues! You will have the chance to compete against other top competitors for a shot at being our cover model, winning the Miss Sensation Gown (created by Juliana), taking part in a Sensation Magazine winner's photoshoot, and being interviewed for the magazine!
This competition may seem daunting, but it's quite laid back. I will also be giving plenty of time for assignments (10 days) rather than the typical week because I want to have your model ready when we are ready for the release of our first comeback issue.
Male and Female models are allowed, YA only, and please be committed to staying once you sign up!
So, what do you get if you win this competition?
-Miss Sensation Gown created by Juliana
-Your model on the cover of the next issue of Sensation Magazine
-Your model interviewed as the cover girl spotlight
-Your model photographed in a winner's photoshoot for the magazine
-Signature indicating your win
No negativity of any kind is allowed - this includes belittling yourself
Editing is allowed and highly recommended
NO face-plastering or photo-skinning
You are allowed to draw your own clothing or objects
Only 2 extensions per person per cycle - yes I will be keeping track
Only 2 days MAX extensions are allowed - you must ask for one at
least 24 hours in advanced
Assignments last 10 days
Deadlines are set at Pacific Standard Times - adjust accordingly

ASSIGNMENT 9: MAKE IT WORK
WOW! You ladies battled it out and have made it to the FINAL ROUND!! I'm so excited and sad, but more excited! Great work getting there this far!
You will need to put on your creative caps for this final assignment. I want some real creativity and some real high fashion from both of you! Your task is to create a very chaotic setting - designed and set up in any way you like - but your model must look calm, collected, fierce, and high fashion. In other words, she shouldn't appear to fit in her setting. She needs to stand out in the image as something unusual for the setting and like a fierce super model should!

Wow, Nini. You created a very beautiful final photo. I love Olivia’s styling and how fierce she looks. Her outfit screams high fashion and her eye contact says “Bring it tornado” – I love it. I don’t have a whole lot to complain about other than Olivia being slightly too tall, only slightly, and her lack of shadow. I think with the sharp lighting you have on her body there’d be a shadow of some kind on the ground. I love the wind blown stuff and that blue scarf/cape was an excellent touch. Oh, her hair is nicely done, but I think it would have worked better and looked more high fashion if it were all blown to the side – like none of it draping down her right shoulder, but instead flying with the scarf/cape. Great job!

Okay so anyone who knows me knows I love tornadoes! Or at least, am fascinated by them. I used to chase them when I was young and … not smart. LOL. I'm happy to see the lightning brushes used. I freakin' love the lightning brushes. I have a problem with the one on the left because it's lower quality, but I know I've used that same one myself and was unhappy with it when I used it myself too, but I decided that… lightning is not good quality as a real thing LOL. I like that you've got the light storm, the tornado, the cracking of the earth, just a soup of natural disasters. And Olivia's like “So? You think I'm going to die? Think again.” I am in love with her outfit and the flowing cape thrown off her shoulders, and I like how the fabric is just a bit back-lit! Only thing is I think she's a TAD too big for her background. Like maybe if you shrunk her just a half inch. Cause I know she's a ways in front of the tree, but Olivia plus the tree… still look a bit off. I'd have liked to see better shadowing, like she needs more of a shadow. Her cape/fabric thing looks okay but she at least needed a foot / lower body shadow. My favorite part about this is the background you used, how it fades off into gorgeous purple tones. Very, very nice choice of a backdrop. I adore this whole photo so much, you have no idea.

This is a phenomenal photo and a great finale entry. Heidi looks amazing and very much a part of her surroundings – which were also pretty spectacular and chaotic. Here’s the one little issue though…Heidi shouldn’t be a part of her surroundings. Well, she should be there and fit in the setting, but her appearance and demeanor should appear as if she’s unaffected or at least not giving a 🐸🐸🐸🐸 about what’s happening. As is, she appears to be running from an explosion and her styling/hair, everything look chaotic as well. I love this photo, don’t think I don’t, but technically it missed the main requirement of looking high fashion in a chaotic setting. Heidi (and this photo) are beautiful though!

Okayyyy so this is awesome and I love it so much! It's like a Michael Bay movie still shot but not as annoying! LOL The way you have Heidi is super cool and I love the chaos in the background. It looks like she's headed away from the explosion. Granted, while she looks great, and beautiful, and sexy, and just… amazing… she doesn't really look as high fashion as I'd expected. She actually looks kinda grunge-chic, not really high fashion. The other thing is that the requirements were for the model to look like they were unperturbed by the chaos in the background, or at least I interpreted it that way (sorry if that was the wrong interpretation.) Heidi looks like she's running from it, so like she's interacting with it. Normally that would get you more points but the way I interpreted the requirements, it means that she doesn't really look as unaffected by the background as was asked for. Either way though I F-ing love this photo. I kind of want to know how you did it. Everything is nicely in place, or well out of place LOL but in a way that's pleasing to the eye. Heidi looks great here with her tattoos and her grunge-chic styling. So it was basically technicalities that killed points for you from me. The photo in general is phenomenal. * bows down * I really, really love it and it killed me a little inside, to have to take off points ANYWHERE.

You can choose whichever you want. Those are simply guidelines. I'd say if her hair is a dark brown or brownish red she'd be good for Autumn. If her hair is more black then Winter would work. You choose though
