Cursor not working?

Okay so I was playing the game on my mac side when I was online and it was working fine without my usb mouse. Then I had to change classes and there was no wifi so I was offline. And when I was in class ( I was supposed to be paying attention i know) but the cursor wasn't really letting me do anything. I was using my trackpad and it didn't do anything except let me move around. But I'm online again and the cursor is working just fine via trackpad. Anyone else having this issue?
