    It's time to Show Off Your Family Tree now that we've got them patched in! :cookie:

    Happy 15th to The Sims!

      so are the lines connecting from a single person, not in between, to a child, a sign they had a child with another person? like a stepchild/halfsibling

      *sighs* My existing family, currently gens 5-6 was stored in the bin since it didn't make a difference before, doesn't seem to have carried over fully which I wouldn't really have expected it to have so not an oversight as such but an unfortunate reality, going to restart but, really wish I knew if there was more stuff to come in the next couple of days that could influence my decision before I start again.

      So the first Sim I decided to check was my slacker baby daddy. He's been a very busy boy.

      I like that when you mouse over the portrait of a deceased Sim it tells you how the Sim died. Doesn't recognize anything beyond great grandchild but that's an improvement, and farther down descendants are acknowledged as "descendant" so that's something.

      In-laws unfortunately are still not recognized nor tracked on the family trees, but even having one is a huge improvement. Hopefully they'll keep tweaking.

      I like the background too. :D My family that I started the game with never got very big. I waited for family trees.

      Open up Simology and it'll be at the top right of the tab. (Next to the Sim's life meter)
      -Shortcut key to open Simology is "Y"

      *There's nothing wrong with loving the Sims 4, there's also nothing wrong with seeking improvements.
