Gee don't post those nightmare things. LOL My sims always had pet chipmunks and squirrels. I hated taking care of them. Then they would live were there where major chipmunk and squirrel conventions there were tons of those things in their yard.
Somewhere between the look of Sims 2 and Sims 3 would be nice. I do like being able to modify both the chest and bottom and feet for the Sims 4. I like the look of the Sims and pets more in the Sims 2. I like the customization of hair and eyes and designs on clothing more in the Sims 3 and the look of the furniture and environments. Create a world was nice too in the Sims 3. So I chose between realistic and cartoon because that is what I think in regards to the Sims. We have realistic life with having families and jobs, but then we have the unrealistic side with odd deaths and supernaturals.

It is that bad.. That doesn't even look anywhere close to a squirrel. It's like some deformed rat... I don't know how people support this kind of style.....

It is that bad.. That doesn't even look anywhere close to a squirrel. It's like some deformed rat... I don't know how people support this kind of style.....
I was torn between somewhere in between realistic and cartoony (which made me think of TS2) or TS3 improved, but I went with TS3 with better textures and lightning. Definitely not the looney tunes cartoony over the top style lalaland it currently has, there is such a thing as balance devs, grasp the concept already.
Hmmm... guess I'm an odd man out because I really like the overall style of TS4, although I will admit the squirrel could definitely use some improvements. As a result, I voted for keeping the TS4 style with added detail.

It went back to a Sims1 world with no world editing, Sims2 loading screens, and SimsFreeplay art graphics.
It SHOULD have continued in a realism style as moved from S1-S3.
It SHOULD have been totally breathtaking, much like the pic you show...
THAT would have been the logical next step for the series and a 2014 game.

Isn't is sad that the sims 4 has only been out a few months and we are already thinking about sims 5. Afraid it will be another 5 years by the time they are done milking sims 4 for all its worth (assuming sims 4 won't spell for the end of the series)

Well this is 2014. If people want to play games with old school graphics then they should go play older games. I should not have to play something that looks like a downgrade from its predecessor.

I can't really participate in your poll because what I'd like to see is cartoony, but high res high poly cartoony.
Something like what EA was doing for this trailer 7-8 years ago only a sims theme instead.
