The Sims 1 Cassandra because after the starter house, the Newbies, the Goths was the first house I played.
I still play the Sims 1 on my anniversary.
In 2000, my husband got me a new Gateway computer and The Sims game came with it as a package deal along with two other games. They had something like 20 games and various Windows programs to pick from. My husband, who is gone now (12/21/2011), picked that game for me. He said, "I knew you would love that game."
Sims 1 because when I moved Mortimer in my house she had the audacity to call me and ask, "Can we have Mortimer back? He's a dear member of our family and we miss him greatly." Nice try little girl, your dad is MINE!
A small sidenote: I usually ended up letting the marriage between her and Don fail, having her flirt with Darren (after her therapy session ), and then getting them (Cassandra and Darren) married, all in the same day.
I still remember how I'd play her. She'd marry Don, and they'd have about 4-5 kids, whilst he climbed his career ladder and she stayed at home. He'd cheat on her countless times, and Cass even began to acknowledge his affairs. But, she didn't give a darn. With the advice of her newly single friend, Mary-Sue, she dumped Don and she and her kids moved to Veronaville, where she'd later re-marry a Sim of mine.
I know she was meant to be with Darren, but, I always had the two remain just friends. Plus, Darren and Kaylynn Langerak are a way more cuter couple!
TS1: She was an innocent playful child that was not corrupted by her parents gothic ways
TS2: Cassandra has grown to be a very naive woman who was oblivious to the fact that her fiancé was putting his eggs in every woman in the neighborhood's basket which lead to being left at the altar.
TS4: It's fun to see she her as a teenager and "help" her make the right choices so she won't be doomed to the ill fated destiny that awaits er.
OP: I prefer TS2 because there is more to her but TS4 is nice because I can steer clear of any drama she'll have later.
Not from the start, but I made her using TS3 genetics using both premade parents. Which is near enough of me.
Might have a picture somewhere.
But that means that there's a different version of her in each game. Also, Bella and Mortimer aren't programmed to give birth to a girl, the baby could easily be a boy. If they gave birth to a boy, then a girl, she still wouldn't be considered the real Cassandra since she's their first kid.

In all seriousness...I love how she looks in 4.

I did Mort/Bella and got the PERFECT Cassie.

Edit: near enough I could find. http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=627632
She turned out more like Bella.
