Great pieces! I can crochet a scarf and that's about it But I love it and I am hoping to learn more stitches and try other things. You use such nice colors for your flowers, btw
@ThePinkBookGirl Thankyou, once you learn a new stitch, it gets easy after that, I just learned the C2C stitch: Corner 2 Corner stitch, it looks like little boxes, Google C2C blanket and you'll know what I mean. Have fun learning a new stitch. I haven't crocheted a scarf yet
@midnightpearl thanks, I'm hoping it will be fun to learn new things And scarves are easy (well, at least making rows of straight lines of stitches and sticking them together is easy). Using variegated yard makes it look even better lol
My grandmother taught me to crochet a long time ago. I would crochet while reading, as it kept my hands busy (I have a bad habit of picking at the corners of my hair while reading). Reading this thread is giving me the urge to take it up once again!
@ThePinkBookGirl one day I will make a scarf soon, just need the right yarn and the right hook, then I'll crochet it @Eileen001 that's great news, there's so many things to do with crochet nowadays
OMG that teacup and saucer!!!
LOVE IT! Reminds me of how my grandma would come up with some pretty creative ideas while crocheting! She made similar "odd" things. (odd as in , not a typical blanket or hat or something )
@UniquePuggle yes I do have Etsy but I can't crochet fast enough to keep up with customers demand so I only use Etsy for downloading other tutorials, but thankyou for your kind words
