Chores

We need something new that brings up closer to real life like regular routine chores for children and teenagers.
like Vacuuming, cleaning up after animals in the yard or while on a walk, mopping, cleaning windows and tables, dusting ect.
the don't have to be just chores for kids, when the house needs cleaning from either excess dust or animal fur (when Pet is introduced).

That sounds like awesome ideas. I used to make my TS3 children make the beds as "chores", but it seems that TS4 sims are so smart that they make their beds automatically.

Kind of reminds me of lawn mowing in TS2. It sounded fun, until it had to be done so often it became annoying. Chores would be good, but not if the house actually needs these tasks done. In TS3 children can be told to take out the trash and it was a problem as it did not need doing too often.

I've always wanted that. The S3 generations would have been even better if a sim parent could give chores and the teen/child actually do them instead of what they said, which was "You better do something to get in my good books", or something like that.
TS4 generations should definitely work on that. :)

Yep, I like this idea. :) and maybe the children/teens could earn pocket money, or earn a sleepover or something from their parents.

Now we have a family chore chart...
I have been playing The Sims since 2001, when Livin Large came out. My avatar deliberately looks like Chris Roomies from TS1.

Good idea, but I don't know that we need a game pack for that. I already have the kids in my household rotate on the chores that require attention. Their Rock Star father runs a bit of a ranch. The animals (3 horses) eight Chickens, and two mini-sheep all require the basic; cleaning, feeding, socializing, et al. I took care of the chickens by upgrading the coop to feed them. But eggs still need collecting and the coop still needs cleaning. There is a total of six YAs, one Teen and a Child able to take some of the pressure off. In fact, just had a slight mishap in my game the other day . . . Relax, he's fine. But he was feeling a tad crispy for a time.

I like most of these but if they add them I hope it won't take all your sims time to attend to them. Some things could be options, just be available for extra feel good points and not because of dust bunnies taking over your house. But I do like the idea of sims houses aging and showing dirt and stains and wear and tear. Like maybe if you dance a lot on the wooden floor at home, it might get some scratches and you need to replace some tiles. Or children scribbling on the walls or clumsy sims splattering tomato sauce on the kitchen wall while cooking and you need to repaint the walls. In TS2 they had those shadows left behind on the wall where a painting had been, hope they bring that back.
