EP Proposal: Ships
Are you sick of being on land? The Sims 4: Ships is the Expansion pack for you!
Three ships will be added to the game so you can pick up your phone and buy tickets!

PS: Will this be popular here in the Forums? Probably not. I want to have fun, wildly speculate and maybe an idea or two might get picked up by developers. If I wanted just to have a majority agreeing, I'd propose Pets, Seasons or any other theme that has been done and mentioned a few hundred times. Therefore, please avoid viciously arguing and join with levity and imagination!

- A modern family cruise, with all sorts of amenities, including buffet restaurants, theatre shows, spas, fitness classes and the Captain's Ball. At the end you will reach a paradisiac beach where you can swim, snorkel, build sand castles, sun bathe and play with monkeys! Perhaps you can smuggle a monkey back home when you return!
Cutthroat Siren:
- A pirate ship! Learn sword fighting, but be careful not to lose a leg or an eye. You might need to live with an eye-patch or a wooden leg! There's singing pirate songs, telling tales and all sorts of camaraderie. But you have to mop the deck, cook and help out. Watch out! Could that be a mermaid? Oh, yes! Deep dive and find out the ocean's secret. But beware. They may keep you down there and you will meet your maker!
Siminic:
- A large, luxurious ship, where you will dress up to the nines, experience the finest sit down dinners and even a Turkish Bath! Most romantic and dreamy trip. Still, enjoy the best you can. You may hit an iceberg after few days and have to fight for your life!

EA doesn't develop the games. Maxis does.
They did have cruiseships on the EP survey, though.

Mind you, I too find EA far from perfect. I am just sick of reading the same posts over and over again.
EA may ruin all good EP ideas. I just won't buy them, it if is the case. But right now, I am more interested in having fun and a good time speculating such ideas with my fellow simmers than having tense, depressing and repetitive discussions about what sort of mishandling EA may or may not commit in the future.
It's getting harder and harder having a good time here. I am trying to, creating idea threads when there are so many flame threads. I just wish the idea threads were used for discussing ideas. That is all.
I kindly thank in advance whoever understands that and refrains from derailing yet another thread for no good reason.
I do understand how you might feel frustrated and welcome you to opening a new thread about your frustration.
Here we should discuss what could or shouldn't be included in an EP of this kind.

100% behind you there. Opinion is one thing, but to saturate almost every thread with it is getting old.
I'd have the timeline paused in the main world (so you return exactly as you left it) and possibly disable aging - trip could be 2-3 sim days and fulfill some new aspirations.
