I guess I was wrong. The game is now freezing no matter what...

Now it freezes at the EA screen and I'm forced to close it. Will reinstalling this thing fix it, or will the problem reappear again? :(
Yeah. Made a Minecraft Windows 10 Edition video channel. I guess I'm insane...

This is post-patch? Try exiting Origin and reopening it. (http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/12879013/#Comment_12879013)

Already tried with the same result. At least before the patch I could get past the EA screen before it froze. But now it's freezing right when the EA logo comes on.

edit: er... nevermind. Somehow popping Disc 1 into the drive seems to have solved all my freezing problems. Even though the game ran without it before...

Oh, great. My game no longer crashes... but that's because I turn off origin, then "attempt" to install the game from disc, which reopens Origin, the starts up the game. I've been able to play for an hour now with no crashing so far...

I had the same freeze on start up... It was because they had issues with the online features today.. it was fixed earlier.
