Sims4 Limited Edition problems

Bought the Sims4 limited Edition and installed it, clicked on the play button and what pops up? the dreaded "Sims4 stopped responding" All that BEFORE even loading the game. I have tried a million to one fixes(including uninstalling/re-installing). Restarted my computer and it still won't respond. I am running Windows 7 with intel core duo.
Why did this game stop responding before even starting????

Is Origin set to online mode when launching the game for the first time? Have you tried using the Repair Install feature? You can check out the following EA Support article for details:
