Hi

I made a few neighborhood maps for The Sims 2 and thought I'd share.
(I make a new one each time I start a new neighborhood  )

I also use a neighborhood camera text mod to view more of the neighborhood.

..... Updated to add....
Here's Central City.
It needs a neighborhood camera edit to use the whole map.

*There's a river that needs the bridge from the neighborhood decorations. :)
.................................
Updated with 2 more smaller Maps...

Pinecone Valley

I'm using this one in my Challenge Neighborhood. The bridge is an object in the neighborhood decorations.

Lonely Highway

I made this for an Apocalypse... it needed a railroad.
LonelyHighway_zps488aa522.jpg
LonelyHighway_long_zps3779eba1.jpg

Place the railroad first, move it and then place lots- go back to decorations and hit undo to move the railroad back in place.
The lots won't place if the railroad is there. :)

Thanks for checking them out!

:D Thank you for these. I don't have sims 2 on this machine, but when I reload it these will make lovely maps to build on.

Rflong7: it seems no matter which you play you like to make neighborhoods/worlds :)...these look awesome :)

    Hi, @cmbaker16 :)
Lol~ Yeah, I guess I did. I hope TS4 gets something to edit the maps without learning how to program. :D

These look great! I especially like the Pinecone Valley map.

Just wondering about your picture for Pinecone Valley - I see TS3 rabbitholes... how did you get them in TS2? Are they functional or just decorations?

    Hi, Conorsim

They're decorations- I placed them and then place the lots to make it look like they're on the lot. :)
I'll look for the link- it has a lot of the TS3 RHs and world objects like the ports and cranes.

*Here's one site- I don't know if I got them there but it has the buildings. :D

(The buildings will show on the lot as if they're there so that's nice- the Sims will walk right through them, too)

Oh, I see..thanks so much! I like how they make the town seem a lot busier and fuller even if they are just decorations :)

The link you posted just sends me back to this page.. was that intentional? I did a google search and found this, but i don't know if it's the same one you have.

edit: actually, wait, the link works for me if I copy and paste it from your quote into my address bar. This is the website if Rflong's link is not working for other people too :)http://delonariel.livejournal.com/2515.html

No, it wasn't intentional- I must have messed it up. :)

Thank you for posting these Rflong7! I am so happy SGBChick gave us the creative corner, hopefully a lot more people who still play the TS2 will find this section and start uploading their creations! I plan to try these out during the holidays! Thanks!

I would love to try some of these out though I'd have to use the computer I'm on for that because I'm on my old computer for now.

Thanks for posting these, there's some really good neighbourhood layouts here, I could never get mine to look even slightly easy on the eye. Will maybe have to get these into my game sometime soon! They'll make for some good shopping districts methinks!
