Question about eyedropper tool...

I use the random(izer) tool all the time and the eyedropper tool to create matching objects of the same type. How do I use it to make sets with the same pattern? I'm doing the architectural designer profession, and some sets don't look good with mismatched furniture. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are trying to add the same pattern from say your bed frame to your dresser or vice versa then you would want to use CASt to copy it over.
