    Lotto Ticket help

    My sim brought a lotto ticket, and when she got the 'sorry you didn't win' message, it mentioned about paying more for the ticket. But I only have the option to put in ten simoleans.

    Is it just one of those funny little quips in the message, or is there a way to increase how much you pay?

      @IrishSimslover, I don't have ITF, but have seen a few let's plays. I think it's just a joke. The way to win the lottery is to go into the future first and research (I think that's the word) the lottery number records at the City hall. Then you return to the present and buy a ticket.

      Ahhh, I see. Thank you! I had figured I'd try to see if I could win anything without "cheating" but when I go through the portal again, I'll definitely remember to look up the numbers.

      You can buy more than one ticket a day; that will definitely increase your chances. Just go back to the store, and buy another one :)
