Scarlet Firecracker: Screenshots, Gameplay

I've tried to get a mod to move my thread, but no luck

I got the game after work today (Sept 2) and got to play for about 4 hours. Before I go to bed, I want to share my first impressions and screenshots. I spent about 75% of my time in build mode (used money cheats).
I'm using the default camera - it's hard to get used to. I don't know how to tilt the camera. I'm using TAB for most of my screenshots. I don't like the edge scrolling since it doesn't go "down" due to the menu.
Anyway, I pulled in my Sim, Scarlet Firecracker, right away as my "Test Sim" and basically started building her house in Oasis Springs.
The in-game graphics look amazing! This is Scarlet:
Here's the living room I built for her:
And the kitchen (it's a Work in Progress). I love the colors!
After building a lot, I figured I should play the game a little before I go to bed. I also got the game for my husband, and he jumped right into the gameplay, so I got to see some from his computer while I was playing, lol. But I basically just went first to the gym in Oasis Springs, where she met Don Lothario and gave him a flirty introduction.
They hit off right away, being both flirty by nature, lol. I'm going to try and replace Don in CAS, eventually. He's ugh.
She got a successful date (found it very easy with the goals)! She got something in her inventory in reward, but I forgot to check what it was. It was a bit musical chairs at some points, and I felt the only way to really enjoy the date was to play REALLY slow and constantly pause the game to figure out what interactions I want to do. I play 99% in the slowest time, only fast forward when she's sleeping.
After the date, Scarlet invited Don back to her place. One of her whims was to kiss Don, but I figured it would fail since he was really stinky and uncomfortable. He went straight for Scarlet's tub - they aren't boyfriend/girlfriend, so I thought this was kinda weird, but funny.
After his bath, all squeaky clean, Scarlet tickled Don mercilessly after making a successful "move" on him. Then I saved and logged out because the game is REALLY addicting and I would probably play all night if I didn't stop myself. Work tomorrow, lol.
I think they are a good match - they are always flirty and energizing each other.

So where I left off with Scarlet and Don that night... She got her first kiss with him. I like the "leading up to" action where she has her hand shyly behind her back.
I need to make the house brighter. I feel like I'm constantly battling the lighting at times - but to be fair it's absolutely gorgeous when the sunlight realistically streams into and out of the house windows.
So after the first kiss, Scarlet went to bed and Don slept in the spare bedroom (she invited him overnight). In the morning, I remodeled her kitchen, having finally figured out how to do interesting cabinets! She got to cook for the first time - scrambled eggs!!!
Amazingly, her first try scrambled eggs were excellent quality WOW! I was afraid she'd set the stove on fire - that happened when my husband first tried to cook with his Sim, lol. I guess Scarlet is a natural cook.
They ate together, awww... I love the creepy over-the-fruit conversation, lol.
I have this kitchen room uploaded to my Gallery; you can search for hashtag rosebud, or "Snazzy Pink & Teal" in title. I also uploaded her bedroom, which I had 15 downloads on! I'm so amazed!!
I read from other people's post that Sims get chubby easily, so I wanted to make sure she kept up her physique. Also, Scarlet's spoiled rotten with motherlode, and doesn't have a job, lol.
So at the gym she met Dina Caliente. (I added lights to the gym - way too dark. I *really* like that you can enter Build Mode at any time just by being on the lot.)
Scarlet flirts with Don really easily, so I had her ask him out to a date right there at the gym. She kissed him, and a surprising thing happened right afterwards...
Immediately after the kiss, Don was upset and uncomfortable, and their conversation turned to "Awkward Encounter"
I didn't know what was going on, until I cycled thru the other conversations, and there was another "Awkward Encounter" with another girl at the gym that Scarlet hadn't met. I'm assuming it's another romantic interest with Don! Sure enough this pony-tailed competition immediately came right up to Don and Scarlet and gave Scarlet quite a look, lol.
Not to be outdone, Scarlet continued her date with Don, making out on the couch.
Scarlet earned another Gold Metal date (easy to do).
This time I looked at what the reward was, lol. A romantic-emotion aura object - so cute! I put it in her bedroom at home:
Don whizzed over in his truck.
Hah! Just kidding. He walked over and knocked on the door (why isn't there a door bell?) and they had a cute picture moment. They're friendship and romantic bars are both really high.
OK, the moment been building up to, lol, woohoo...
That dirty panda watched everything
Scarlet fell asleep afterwards and slept thru the night, but Don stuck around to play on her computer. In the morning, he was really tired and made tea, which they enjoyed together (in coffee mugs?)
After tea, Scarlet made them breakfast - not excellent, but still good.
They have their "spots" at the table apparently, lol.

Thanks! I basically start with one object I really like - it was the teal-colored fridge, and find a nice contrasting color (that pink majenta) for everything else in the room.
Scarlet tried on the new outfits I gave her, and she got in a flirty mood again.
Don came over on his own freewill, and she showed off her new look (kinda matches the kitchen, lol).
They had quite a kiss tango...
And went upstairs to... you know what
Afterwards, Don left and I had Scarlet go outside to plant some seeds she collected around her house. (Collecting took up most of the rest of the day- there's a LOT to find and do.)
That's when Dina Caliente yelled at her about cleanliness. I guess making too much water mess? lol It was about 1 in the morning at this point.
Dina's face is really cute, even if she is not the Dina I imagine from TS2. They became rather nice friends (early stages) before Scarlet went to bed. They both like fitness and being active (wasn't that supposed to be Nina's trait?)
It'll be interesting to be friends with Dina with Don being such a lover boy. Scarlet is also noncommital - she doesn't want to ask Don to be her boyfriend, lol.

Thank you for sharing. Looking at those poorly textured, low-poly, oversaturated graphics showed me it isn't really worth it.

It could be because I kept her up late mopping floors, lol. Yes, that was 4 in the morning. She's way off a normal schedule, lol.
She's spoiled by motherlode! I have to make her do some work!
So she wakes up angry, and I don't need to be told - I can see it on her face.
By now it's brunch time (I guess I made her REALLY stay up late, lol) and she's starving, so she literally stomps the whole way down to the kitchen.
Watching her prepare a BLT was hilarious! She's so angry, she SLAMS the fridge door after grabbing food. Literally it's SO loud I almost jump out of my seat. So funny. And when she's at the counter chopping up her food, she is wielding that knife like a maniac like she wants to murder the sandwich, all the while mumbling very meanly at those poor tomatoes. ROFL.
She then proceeds to dress herself in her OLD clothes and eat at the table. I guess if you have more than one outfit saved, they will randomly choose one? The BLT looked delicious! And she ate it with her hands!
To make matters worse, she gets a random phone call from some Sim asking to come over. It's a guy, and being that Scarlet is a serial romancer, I said yes. Poor guy, she's not feeling flirty at all.
So she meets this Efrain Hildebrand (a townie?) and at first glance, I'm like OOO Don better watch out!
But, uh oh, on closer inspection, ...
Yes, that's a unibrow.
Luckily, Don was close by (he is constantly stalking her house. I really wonder how jealousy and serial dating is going to work if all romantic interests are constantly outside your house, lol.)...
So she just hung out with Don instead of Unibrow-guy.

Anyway, Scarlet finally asked Don to be her boyfriend- but only because one of her aspirations is to have Two Break Ups. Yep, she's bad to the bone!
The breakup scene was so sad!
Her relationship with Don went from "It's Complicated" to "Bad Romance" lol.
Scarlet's Sad mood enabled her to paint a Sad painting:
She wasn't sad for long! On to her next victim! lol
Scarlet cheers herself up by cooking Flirty Heart-shaped Cookies
She and her new guy, Shaowen Acevedo (yah I had to write that one down), are so cute! I LOVE this picture of them:

After the successful date, Scarlet broke up with poor Shaowen Acevedo. That's No.2 Breakup. Another aspiration goal completed, lol. Her breakup face, this time:
Scarlet was sad from the recent breakup, but also enjoyed showing off her muscles, lol.
She met her next victim, Geoffrey Landgraab, a bit older man (very rich):
He's married... they both didn't seem to care.
Meanwhile, Scarlet became good friends with Bella and Babs:
(It's pretty easy to stay in contact - the Sims visit you of their own free will A LOT.)
Scarlet and Geoffrey woohooed (poor Nancy Landgraab).
Scarlet then decided to up her game and break out the super vixen!
Because... she's asking Geoffrey to leave his wife, Nancy... At first, he didn't seem happy about the idea...
But, he's noodle-brains over Scarlet and agrees:
Little does Geoffrey know that Scarlet has no desire to settle down! She has an awkward encounter with Don on the way home:
I tried to "rekindle" the romance, but it failed.
(Or rather his genes - that blonde hair!) and they "Try for a Baby!"
They decide to do this in Scarlet's spare guest bedroom - must be the babymaking chamber!
And it worked! (Toilet pregnancy test for the win!)
I could see her baby bump right away! Scarlet ate breakfast while Geoffrey slept upstairs...
So cute!
She waited for Geoffrey to wake up - she couldn't wait to tell him the news!
He needed cheering up, lol.
To celebrate, Scarlet hosted a house party (wish there was a Baby Shower option). Unibrow guy (Efrain Hildebrand) was the first guest, then Dina Caliente, looking amazing.
(For some reason, all the guests came in through the back door).
Scarlet had a funny freakout telling the baby news to Dina, who looked sad and excited at the same time.
Dina then spent the rest of the party flirting with Unibrow guy. Man, Dina is muscular!
The other guests arrived - Babs and a Sim named Sonny Padilla with an unfortunate party hat. Bab's like... "Really?"
Don Lothario was there, and even gave Scarlet a nice hug!
A special moment Scarlet made super awkward by giving him a "Suave Kiss" since she was super Confident. ROFL.
Then the party ended and all the guests left through the back door. The party train!
Sonny Padilla - the party hat guy - stayed behind to chat up Scarlet.
Scarlet got a nice back massage out of the bargain.
(I removed his hat in CAS using cas.fulleditmode cheat. I think he looks a lot like Scarlet's previous lover, Shaowen Acevedo, with the black beard, lol, but they are two different Sims).
It was end of that crazy day, I realized I had totally neglected the garden. It's totally toxic!

So the next day, Scarlet had a blast getting everyone to feel her baby bump!

As time progressed, Scarlet got bigger and bigger. LOVE the men's t-shirt for night-time wear!
Finally, Geoffrey got to feel, too. Poor Daddy is last, lol.
(He already has a son named Malcolm with Nancy).
Scarlet gets Flirty while preggo easily!
But her back hurts!
But that doesn't stop her from more Woohoo - with Sonny (Geoffrey had to leave.) LOL poor Geoffrey...
They make out just before Scarlet goes into labor!!!!

If something looks weird with the upload, let me know. I never tried downloading it into a new saved game. I hope Scarlet's paintings are uploaded with it - and there's some flirty potions she earned in the bedroom.
Edit: also, make sure you download "version 2" - I have an earlier upload to the Gallery, and I tweaked it a little since I found some missing wall paints, little stuff like that.
