Back in the 1980's a man named William Jets traveled to Africa to study the tribes and their culture, as he was fascinated by the versatile tribes throughout the country and their ability to survive. While studying a particular tribe that was related to the Swahili, he noticed a beautiful woman among the tribe inhabitants and how she was fascinated by just his presence. Wanting to learn more about her, the tribe, and to connect them on better level, he began teaching her his language and culture to test reactions and gain a better understanding of what they approve and disapprove of.



While teaching her though, he began to realize that he was falling in love with her, Zuri Nwosu! She was certainly a character, always helping out anyone she can and working with the orphaned children. She was always deciding to do something new too. One week she wanted to learn to sing in his language, the next she wanted to dance and listen to all the types of music. She wanted to ride horses and see everything she could. It was only until they got closer that he realized something was a little off about that behavior, as he originally thought it was just excitement over new things flooding her mind, but when she suddenly became depressed and antisocial for a week he started to think that something else was amiss.



Even after that week though, William and Zuri spent all of their time together, her following him around as he did research and him teaching her all he could. By now they even began to see each other in each one's tent, which lead to several woohoo's! The couple was head over heels in love!



Unfortunately, their romance was coming to an abrupt end. Zuri found out she was pregnant, and went through several stages that made William confused. She was happy for the first few months, but then her mood began to drop as the due date got closer. She was harsh and bitter, unlike her usual happy self. William was deeply concerned for his love but didn't know what to do. After Zuri gave birth, she seemed to return to her normal state for a while, taking care of their two twin girls, Sanaa (art) and Furaha (joy, happiness) like nothing was wrong. Within a week though Zuri snapped and tried to smother the baby girls. William was thankfully there to stop her, and decided that it was time to figure out what was going on. Taking her to the U.S., doctors revealed that she was completely unstable and unfit to be a mother. Upset by the news, William had to come to a decision. There was no way Zuri could take care of them, and he couldn't take care of them himself due to him having to leave for another part of Africa soon. So, William decided to leave the children to a friend of his while he traveled and researched the tribes of Africa. Regrettably, he had to leave Zuri back in her village while he traveled, which eventually led her to believe that he was leaving her and didn't love her anymore. She became heartbroken and more unstable as the years went by....

Now the twins.....Ohhhh they were twins alright! The sneaky little devils grew big and fast in no time and began wreaking havoc in their new caretaker's home, Jim. They knew that the people they were with were just looking after them until their father returned home for them, but they were always curious about their mother. Any questions though lead to silence and then a change of topic. But they always brushed it off and continued playing pranks on their housemates, and one of their favorite pranks was acting like each other to confuse and trick everyone. They had no remorse with their pranks, everyone was a victim!



That behavior continued even into their teens. While they did well in school, they didn't stay indoors after school got out and instead spent the nights partying and doing more of their pranks. If they weren't partying, they were exploring the town to discover something new. Well, more like Furaha dragged Sanaa around to explore.

As they grew older their personalities developed into their own unique person to the point that the only thing they can agree on now is their favorite food, which is cookies!

The rundown of their personalities?

Sanaa's name means "art" and she certainly acts like she's the art of humans, perfection! She's a diva and she shows it. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind, and if you happen to think she's wrong, you might want to step back! She loves music and can play a wide variety of instruments, which is why she's always invited to the best parties in town! She's the party animal that every party needs, as it's not complete unless she's there rockin' the DJ booth! Don't dare her though, because she's a daredevil at heart and will do anything you dare her too! Too bad she's clumsy (not that she'll admit it, and you shouldn't mention it) because if she wasn't she could avoid injuries during her stunts! And she tries her hand at sports to keep herself in shape and to kick some of that clumsiness in the rear! This diva is one of a kind, but she certainly knows how to make it look good!



Furaha is exactly what her name means as well! She is nothing but a ball of happiness and energy as she zooms through the day! She loves the idea of adventure because of the stories she heard of her dad, so she hopes to be like him one day, even though her dad didn't do much....As you can tell Furaha is easily impressed by the smallest of things, and she becomes so excited over just the thought of adventuring that she giggles randomly throughout the day and becomes lost in her thoughts. This makes her forget things easily, but she makes up for it with her personality! Who couldn't love this gal? A little note of warning though, she isn't a morning person! She can stay up late with her sister to party, but good luck getting her out of bed the next day! Furaha also enjoys dancing, mainly ballet, and cooking because who else is gonna make those delicious cookies!?

By now you're probably wondering what happened to their parents. Sadly, William Jets never did make it back home. On his way home to pick up the girls for their 15th birthday the plane crashed, landing the girls into a tough spot. They had to remain with their dad's friend until they were 18, but they still had no idea who their mother was or if she was going to come get them. By the time they received answers about their mother, the girls had already graduated and attended university, with Sanaa majoring in music while Furaha majored in Culture and Society like their father. Eventually Jim, the family friend who raised them, opened up about their mother. Zuri had fallen into deep depression and was almost beyond help. The twins were upset that she was left in such state, and both decided that with their new jobs they would take care of her and move her out of Africa.

While the reunion was emotional and touching, the excitement for meeting their mother quickly died out when they realized that she would be a handful...and boy were they right! A whole new adventure has begun for these girls. Can they possibly learn to love this woman and all her quirks, like their father? Only time will tell with this quirky little family.

Great background details and story that you have written for the twins and for their family ! It was great reading the story of their lives and the descriptions of the personalities, character and interests. Very nice photos that you have posted of them! It was nice that you have described their family story beginning from before they were born , and leading through to when they were reunited with their Mum.
They are great twins
