So in one of my most recent houses I came up with this playhouse and someone suggested that I create a tutorial for it, so for anyone who’s seen it and wanted to know how I did it I shall explain it here.
What the end result is, since it's very compact it comes in handy when you have limited area for playgrounds or could looks really nice in a park.
Start by creating a 2x1 box leaving four spaces empty and placing a 2 wall line like so:
Now in between the walls place a swing set, for the swings it doesn’t matter which ones you use. I usually use the ones from generations cause their my favorite.
Create a wall of 2 and place the slide using move objects on to get it to place right, again it doesn’t matter which one you use. I just really love the playground equipment that came with Gen.
Now above the swing set layout the flooring and decide on how you’d like the play house to look.
Next add in your walls and add in a ladder (you’ll need IP or the patch.) remember you’ll need flooring on the square you’ll be placing the ladder.
Then add in your doors, windows, and wallpaper. You can also began to decorate and furnish the inside. It can be done however, you’d like since it is your building.
Lastly add on the roof, again this can be done however you like but this is the combination I like best.
Now all that’s left is to let your child sims lose. They can play on the playground as well as climb the ladder to play inside the house.
Hope this was helpful and if you need any help I don’t mind answering questions.
oh well, thank you , it was a suggestion over in the BnS thread when they gave me good and bad criticism about an entry I did. Since it's snowing out  (snow day woot!!) I took some time to put this together. So hopefully it's understandable .
The tutorial is great! The playhouse would be great to have in builds for child sims to have fun playing in. Thanks for sharing the tutorial of how to create it.
Great idea cmbaker! Very clearly laid out and great pics. I'll probably end up steal...er borrowing this idea in some of my builds! Thanks for taking the time to share this. Let Smokey now about so she can add it to her list of tutorials: Smokey's Thread
Thanks

What an Adorable little playhouse! Such a clever idea! I never thought to incorporate the swing set and slide into the little house. Thank you for the tutorial!

@anettesb: :-o must have been difficult to get it to work with stairs, Well I came up with the idea recently cause my backyard playgrounds always seem misplaced. Thought it would be a nice touch to make it seem more organized.

Here's my version I built for my Sim family in Lucky Palms. They don't have much backyard that isn't pool, so this is just brilliant. Thank you again so much for the tutorial!
