Edit: The world says some objects were replaced, but I have all of the expansions. Which stuff packs or store content was used? I'm playing on the saved game file with families in the world.
I'm playing this world right now, trying to hold out for Island Paradise. I absolutely love it, plays very smooth.
My sim is a Massage Therapist, so she works part time at the Day Spa, and then I renovated your salon to add a massage room and table that I have her use on her down time for extra cash.
Reminds me of a greener southern California/San Diego, which is where I'm from :]
Ahh I just recommended this world to someone and had no idea it was posted here on the forum. Well to the creator, this world is amazing, I love it!! I downloaded the Island Paradise updated version and I couldn't ask for more in a world; it's PERFECT!!! Great job!!!!

Another question..I downloaded your Lucky Palms Casino,how to put it out? :oops: Its a houseboat,but it says Resort,so then I cant figure out how to put it in a Port?Seems like cant change the name to "houseboat"
Well hello there! I totally spaced sorry about that I've got a new computer which means I can finally play your worlds so my question is which one is your favourite?
This looks amazing, but I can't for the life of me find the save file and I'm going crazy, because I really want it.
Never mind, I found it. haha
So I just installed the world, and this is what happened. I have every expansion and stuff pack, so I don't know what the issue could be. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it still isn't fixed. It's so depressing because I really want to play this world.
What is missing and not working is all of the beach lots and the dive lots.
And here is what it looks like when I try to load those lots.
UPDATE: Nevermind, I figured it out. The save file isn't for Island Paradise, so all of that stuff is missing. Darn. Guess I'll have to save everyone from the save file to the bin and add them to the world.
The same thing happend to me @ Wilderwolf, so I just deleted that savefile,I had already innstalled the Isla Paradiso vertion, and just clicked on the save file for the other vertion, did not think about that it was before update;-) I have put my own familys out now ;-) A very nice world!!
Now I have another question. What spawners have you placed in the world? Are they all there? I'm using the collection helper reward and no seashells are showing up. I don't know if it's because there aren't any spawners for them in the world, or because it's a fresh save file they just haven't spawned yet.
Wow must have missed a lot of comments here! So Evansdale is my favorite for sure but I have been working on SimLau Lite and it is moving up the ranks! This world has all spawners yes - for placing the casino you need to first place a houseboat on the port!

SR are you doing more with Sim Lua Lite - as I just last night downloaded that from your site - but if you are still working on it - should I wait to try it or is it complete? I sort of took it as being all updated already, which is why I downloaded. But if you are doing more to it, then perhaps I should uninstall and wait. I have installed it, but haven't played in it yet. I was just gathering a few worlds to try this week end to know if I plan to keep them or not. I have already started a game in Evansdale and decided that was a keeper.
What I am trying to do is install all the worlds that I plan to keep long term seeing Sims 3 is starting to wind down - that will play well with all the eps and should work okay with the new future stuff from the last ep also. But I do want the finals before I start playing in my "Keepers" and make a bunch of sims for them. I like to populate them myself as far as most of your worlds go with a good 10 to 12 starter families as sort of my founders.
But if this one is not ready yet - then I will work on one of the other keepers I downloaded last night this week end. The date on the one I installed is the 17th - so I thought it was up to date.

Well - that version is the updated Lite version. What I am working on is a version of it that will be filled in. While I was in it I was like - gosh it would be neat to be able to get to those falls. Anyway, so I have been rearranging and that so it is a whole different version but still the same. I hope that makes sense.
I agree - now that Sims 3 is dying down I feel like going back over all of my worlds to refresh and update them all. Yes, most definitely make Pagoda Islands IP ready - that is one of those worlds I tend to go back to a lot - so I know I will appreciate it. I have a feeling I will have at least a third to a half of your worlds when we get completely wound down as my forever worlds. Between you, Rflong, Quailhogs, and a couple other creators I should have plenty of Non EA worlds I can get lost in for all those times you just want to enjoy playing and get lost in a world. So I want to make sure as I plant my world specific sims in each world I am thoroughly happy with everything. But I want to make founders for most of the worlds of sims just for each of the worlds that I really like. I wait until I am in the world and get a real feel for it and then try to make sims I can feel like I might know in real life. I purposely do not use sims from one world in another world when I finally get to playing that world unless one of the sims I use for testing worlds just suddenly look so right for it. That way in order to see what life has dished out to a particular sim, I need to play them and the world they live in. It keeps me hoping from world to world as if their life continues when I am not playing there - even though I know it doesn't - it sometimes feels it.
Anyway - then perhaps I will wait for that world and any other I am leaning toward. I may play though some more in Evansdale County as I had already started on my first founder family for it and will just move them when ever you get it in a final stage. I do agree - more islands and more room would make it even more perfect than it already is.
JUst curious if the name for Evansdale is a mediphor for Dale Evans, Roy Rogers wife or just a coincidence it is her name reversed? I thought of that the minute I heard of this world and wondered but forgot to ask. I sort of thought you were way too young to know who she was seeing I am ancient and barely recall her - although she was sort of my idol as a very tiny girl from watching their Saturday morning Roy Rogers and Dale Evans show.

Totally by chance about the name - I don't even know who that is. It was inspired by a town close to me and I was having trouble coming up with one! Well adding some islands and that and I want to make the lots in the farming area 50x50 at least for horses. I hope to have most of them updated before the next EP but then again if it adds a bunch... which I don't think it will that would change the worlds because it is all a very different style!
If your sims crave a warmer environment then you will want to check out Evansdale County! This world utilizes the lighting from Monte Vista which gives it a much more tropical feeling. There is a city on one side with a waterfall, wharf area with two clubs and the junkyard, several apartments, two celebrity mansions and more! Just a short commute away is the town which has a bar and grill, dive bar, shops and more. There is a small mobile home park and farming area as well as a waterfall.
