Hi,
I know... not many will need this information and it's probably been known by so many for so long, and that I'm just out of the loop. 8)
Well, that's nothing new.
Anyway,
if you need to find an object in your world layers quickly- click on the item and hit the shift key. . . a box option-
u]Find In World Layers Panel[/u
will pop up- click on it. It will open up the layer and will be either the top or the bottom object in the list.
~ No laughing.... :XD:

Likewise, you can right click on an item in the World Layers panel and choose 'show in render panel' to find where it is in the world.
(Hopes RFLong will have a picture for this)

I think, if memory serves me right, that you can also just double click an item in the world and it happens as well. Been a while now since I worked in CAW, but I think I did that once when I was trying to find an object in the layers panel.
I don't think double clicking on an item in the world will show it in the layers- I only seem to move them when I accidentally double clicked on them.
