We have seen some questions regarding the SimPoints that were re-rewarded to fans for registering The Sims 3 base game and earlier expansions that came with free SimPoint cards. The situation has now been addressed. Thank you for your patience and assistance. Here are the answers to some of the frequently asked questions concerning this topic:
Will I lose the SimPoints that were given to me by mistake due to this bug?
No, SimPoints will not be removed.
Will I lose the objects I purchased with the rewarded SimPoints?
No, these objects are yours to keep and will appear in your purchase history. They will be available for download in your purchase history at any time.
What happens if I redeemed the rewarded SimPoints a second time?
If you redeemed SimPoints, they are yours to keep. If you have not redeemed SimPoints, the button and call to action will still be there until you do, since they are your SimPoints. The button should disappear after you have redeemed the SimPoints.
