It's well deserved! I have quite a few of your lots in my game and love each one.
I'm looking forward to Vael's university exploration but can understand why you may need some time off. It is wonderful seeing the game through your stories and pictures.

Agree with this. We all need a break sometime. Don't worry we will turn up for anything you post.
BTW how about the book?
Hi CK, I've been trying to find you on here, I even posted on the my page thing, but I can't sit all day and watch that thing, so I don't know if you ever saw it or not.
It's been a while since UL came out, and I know you had been really looking forward to it before it was released, did you enjoy it? I was surprised I didn't see a story with it from you.
I'm debating whether to work more on my teenaged witch to get her ready to go off to University (and whether to send her alone or with her human half brother), or get back to my human and alien half-sisters and get them aged up to go to University. I've actually been enjoying playing my genie Sim now that he's married to Jeffrey Dean (maiden name, now Jeffrey Iravat). Actually though Jeffrey graduated with a C in Fine Arts, he had the LTW to be a world-renowned surgeon so I had to send him back to college to get his Science/Medicine degree. He's going to be the one to grow a PlantSim baby (he already turned into a PlantSim but fortunately had SuperSpice in his inventory so I could cure him).

I played some test sims through University while I waited for Twallan to update his mods.
I posted pictures for the past several pages on this thread.
The Update took longer than usual, and I never got around to playing the sims I intended making a real story for Uni. Now that the initial excitement for University is over, I'm not feeling as motivated, plus I've been doing some real-life soul searching lately and haven't been playing The Sims 3 as much.
I have not been playing the game much myself. Checking out the site almost everyday but not posting much. Been spending most of my real life time working out and studying. Trying to better myself and my life. Keep thinking about playing the game but not sure when I will.
But I think my favorite sim featured in your University test is Eddy. He. Is. So. CUTE. I cannot believe EA made him - after a bucketful of ugly sims, we get some really good-looking ones! Squee!
He has a decent personality too, and depending on your sim's genetics, his features almost always will carry into the second gen. No complaints here - he makes cute children. Ack, if only I had taken pics...

I haven't played for an entire week.
I did go in and sample music tracks, so I could make MP3s to put in my custom folder. I'm getting tired of waiting for EA to allow us to manage the music files.
I now have most of my favorite sim music tracks in the custom radio station.
Today I went and edited the University Town linked to Sunset Valley.
Velmia had a snow cone as I listened to my new music play list.
Good Day.
I keep visiting the thread to see if you are adding any updates to anything you may be doing with your sims. I opened my sims for a bit on Saturday but did not get much done. Looking forward to the new expansion Island Paradise and trying to think of ways I will play the expansion once it is out. I have also been trying to look around the site to see what others have been doing in their games. Going to mess around with my Skyrim mods a little and then maybe play the game a bit. Hope your doing well and enjoying your game and life.

I haven't played for a month now.
I've thought about starting up the game, but just can't get motivated. :P
Awesome pictures! I have not purchased anything from the store in over six months due to money being tight. There are so many things I want from the store that I hope to one day have the extra money to start buying some of them. Today I started up my game and created a new sim. Playing the new sim in Sunlit Tides. If I like this sim well enough I will use the new sim to explore Island Paradise when it is released.

The Store is nuts, so much content, and some content that I feel is a must-have for the game. I've been very fortunate with generous simmers. I feel guilty about being lax about putting out the things I've made.
I agree that there are some must haves in the store that I do not own yet that I really do want. Also I agree that there are some very generous people...I was gifted Sunlit Tides by one of them.
Speaking of gifts, I would liket to thank Jaline33 for my country content.
I might as well try it out with Cairo who is testing the mansion and horse stable.
Just the sound of the chickens alone adds to the atmosphere.
Cairo is partnered with Amy Li for this house test.
Conversing with chickens.
It's Charles, the evil chicken.
So evil!
A call of another nature.
My timing is off with this thing. Winter is setting in, but maybe there will chicks by spring.
Dun, dun, dunnnnnnn!
Darn it! This usually happens in house tests.
I forget about paying the bills.
She's not interested in repossessing the car.
Here? It must be the sauna.
Yep.
A dog toy? Fine, they don't have a pet anyway.
I guess I should add a dog. I've been focusing on horses.
I don't suspect dogs will having any issues with this house.
Christmas lights test.
I think it looks nice. The problem with testing for Seasons are the leaves. I like to have the lot nice and tidy when I upload. I'm going to have to have them rake all those leaves. Plus I have to get rid of the snowmen and igloos they keep sneaking off to build.
What's going on here?
Fighting with Charles?
Who won?
She's not saying, but she's looking very red-faced.
Another house I'm preparing for upload--it's a do over of one I already uploaded. The living room was too narrow and the sims kept going outside to interact. This should fix that little problem. I feared it would look bulky, but it's not as bad as I had thought.
Oh my! The country set. How fun was it to play with? It is one of things from the store that I am interested in. I do really love the mansion and horse stable. Love seeing new things created by you.
Sorry to read somewhere on another thread that your computer may be having some issues. Hope you might be able to work out a fix for it or that you purchase a new one with no problems. So what are your thoughts and feelings about the Sims 4?
Comments
Well that's surprising.
I had another surprise when I started up my launcher and saw it on the advertised there too.
Thanks for letting me know.

I'm back to work on that Mansion with the horse stables.
I play this lot through the sim winter and into sim spring. That should polish up the lot well.
I got a pop-up notifying me that my Luna Lovegood sim had grown into a young adult.
I never got around to play her and her dad.
She took a job at city hall.
Fortunately this neighborhood is a copy and I can still play her life.
Hoo boy... I haven't played for a month and the only thing that gets me messing around with the game is new content from The Sims 3 Store. :P
And not for the best value either if you already own the black jack table like I do.
They look very similar, and are not that necessary.
The only reason I got the new gambling tables is because I love my Casino.
I never play the black jack tables however--just the slot machines.
These new tables seem like they should be more interesting.
You're on, girls, time to test out some new content.
If I can get you to put away your smart phones, that is.
Oops. It's 7:00 in the morning. The casino does not open until 10 and Velma needs to go to work.
I'll let Jasmine skill up at the park.
Where's your mom?
Oh.
Still loving the Seasons park. It's nice to see sims doing things other than reading books.
It's well past 10 am, to the casino.
You should be in school, Coral.
I had Jasmine work on her gambling skill by watching Christopher Steel.
Red! You lose.
That has to be annoying.
Good. Velma is off work.
Alright, let's give this thing a whirl, girls.
Red! Girls win, Chris loses.
They're switching colors this time.
Reversal of fortune, Chris wins and the girls lose.
Paparazzi.
Oh great, now I'm going to have them interrupting games.
She's cute as paparazzi go in my game, but that's no excuse for dragging players away from the table.
The girls are doing alright at roulette.
Let's try poker.
What?
The Paparazzi again.
Corrupting the youth of Sunset Vally with inappropriate videos. :?
"You are sick, lady."
Coral isn't the only one who needs to go to the ladies room.
Velma is calling for other players to join.
That's a nice feature.
Good! Let's get rollin', high rollers.
Coral will rather watch this time.
20 minutes later...
Yes, go home. It's near your bedtime anyway.
That's enough for you, Velma, go get something to eat.
Jasmine lost all her money. Which is good. She is a novice after all.
She might as well grab a bite too.
I guess the objects are OK. But they are more beneficial to those who are buying them for the first time.
Velma is playing a Sims game on her tablet.
I wonder if my sim's sim is playing The Sims.
