    Curse You, Selena Savage

There I was, working on Edna Mode's house while she slept. I moved her in because I was bored working on it and it seemed like it would be more fun to move her in and build on it as her needs dictate.

    [Earlier that day]
    Screenshot-974.jpg

So I'm in build mode and just placed a fountain spout and turned on Live mode to see it spray. I heard the sound of a cheap car and thought it odd since Edna is isolated high on the hill. So I go back to build mode...or I try to...when I'm informed that I can't because the house is being robbed.

    :x She stole her piano!
    Screenshot-982.jpg

No creepy music or any warning.
    Screenshot-983.jpg

    Then she stole her stove.
    Screenshot-985.jpg

[neat trick] But now she's just showing off. :P
    Screenshot-986.jpg

And now she's making a break for it with her ill-gotten goods. :x
    Screenshot-987.jpg

    You're being robbed!
    Screenshot-988.jpg

Edna is a master of Simfu, but I have no interaction to stop this burglar. No brave trait.
    Screenshot-989.jpg

But I can give her a makeover. What burglar could resist that.
    Screenshot-990.jpg

And Edna's true-blue roomie is making a call to the cops while she stalls the burglar for time.
    Screenshot-991.jpg

"No no, horizontal stripes will only make you look short and fat.
    Screenshot-993.jpg

    Excellent, take your time.
    Screenshot-994.jpg

    Noo... This burglar isn't stupid.
    Screenshot-995.jpg

Augh! She's going to get away.
    Screenshot-999.jpg

I got your name...Selena Savage. Your day is coming.
    Screenshot-1000.jpg

No cops. Just a phone call saying she got away.
And Edna is too broke to afford a burglar alarm unless I sell something.
    Screenshot-1001.jpg

This is so much more annoying when your sim is low on cash.

    Let's go to a party. :D
Holly Alto is hosting yet another soiree.
    Screenshot-1051.jpg

    Andrea loves formal parties.
    Screenshot-1054.jpg

They can rub shoulders with the Altos, Landgraabs, and Wellingtons as snap-happy paparazzi waltz around them. They are safe and secure in the knowledge that everything is safe and secure at...
    Screenshot-1056.jpg

    ...home.
    Screenshot-1062.jpg

 Good thing I got the burglar alarm right away.
    Screenshot-1057.jpg

That's right, do the clarion dance, Selena.
    Screenshot-1058.jpg

The good officer is on his way to collect you.
    Screenshot-1063.jpg

Good plan, going in all stealthy. Get in there!
    Screenshot-1065.jpg

The party is over and the girls are on their way home.
    Screenshot-1060.jpg

    No.
That's not a good sign--especially the ladybug thought bubble.
That's not a kiss she's laying on him.
    Screenshot-1068.jpg

They sent in Officer Friendly. :?
    Screenshot-1069.jpg

She's not called Selena Savage for nothing.
    Squashed him like a ladybug.
    Screenshot-1070.jpg

Yes, ladies, you're being burgled again.
    Screenshot-1071.jpg

Is this a glitch? I thought sims could challenge burglars.
    Screenshot-1072.jpg

Yet again the only thing Edna can do is attempt to give the burglar a bad makeover. She's a master of Simfu. :x
    Screenshot-1073.jpg

    Selena is only humoring them.
    Screenshot-1074.jpg

    So long, Suckers!

    Screenshot-1076.jpg

Andrea just wants to go to bed.
    Screenshot-1077.jpg

Oh look. She used the money from the piano and stove to buy a better car.
    Screenshot-1078.jpg

She'll probably be driving around in a CC Mercedes before long.
    Screenshot-1080.jpg

But it's ok. She didn't take anything. However, Selena will get her comeuppance one day.
(comeuppance? is that a real word?)

Ohhh, that Selena Salvage! Great story, I once had a Holly Savage rob my sims house, freaking coicidence maybe? Haha, maybe it runs in the family. I loved that one! Great work!

    EDIT: Spelling mistakes.

I have yet to see Selena taken to jail in my game. She's gotten away with it in 3 different households.

We shall catch them! My game is crashing at the moment, but as soon as I get it fixed, I'll go to my Bridgeport game and see if I can catch her.

EDIT: Also, (I need to stop editing...) is Edna's house on the exchange?

    Yes.

The sunken living room is nice to look at, but I've found it somewhat annoying. Lighting does not show well in it and sims tend to want to take the long way around instead of walking through it. You might want to fill it in, like so.

    The Setup of Selena Savage
    blunote00 wrote:
Okay I've been off/on these forums (tired from cooking and eating). Bumping because it's been a good five/six days and I want to know what's going on with Edna.

    Edna is in France.
I will have a great laugh if she returns home to find Selena robbing her house again.
    Screenshot-1318.jpg

I am laying the ground work to get back at Selena. I want to see her burn in sunlight and weaken from lack of blood as a vampire. So Edna has befriended Jessica Talon. A vampire burglar would be interesting though. I'm tempted to leave Selena as vampire burglar.
    Screenshot-1183.jpg

So I have to decide if I want to turn Edna into a vampire so she can bite Selena and turn her or should I have Jessica do it. I'm leaning towards taking over Jessica.
    Screenshot-1184.jpg

She quit her job as Stylist and is now self-employed as a painter. Bridgeport doesn't need her services anymore. I had her party just before leaving for France.
    Screenshot-1201.jpg

So now she's hanging out with gal-pal Andrea in France. She achieved level 1 visa status.
    Screenshot-1301.jpg

    Being hounded by the paparazzi...
    Screenshot-1296.jpg

And having jam sessions. That sim looks like a body guard. "No pictures!"
    Screenshot-1313-1.jpg

I've been planning to try out a butler with Edna. Now seems like a good time. She got Bertram.
    Screenshot-1320.jpg

I like Bertram's traits. He's neat, family oriented, and a bookworm. He has to get over the celebrity worship thing.
    Screenshot-1323.jpg

    He's also Brave.
I think Selena is going to be in for a big surprise if she home invades again.
    Screenshot-1324.jpg

Uh oh. I can't make him stop.
    Screenshot-1326.jpg

Oh, well. I guess he'll keep going until he wears himself out. He's dedicated.
    Screenshot-1327.jpg

He "put away" three skill drinks.
    Screenshot-1340.jpg

No point in letting them go to waste, eh Bertie boy?
    Screenshot-1342.jpg
    blunote00 wrote:
Nice traits on your butler CK. He might be a keeper.

The traits for Camilla Fortescue are Brave, Neat, Excitable, Party Animal, and Family-Oriented. She really hasn't had time to party though. I think the key traits to a good butler are Brave and Neat. I really think they need the neat trait to clean.

Selena actually appeared for a third robbery attempt. :-o

I used the reset sim cheat on Bertram because he wouldn't stop training with the training dummy. He disappeared and didn't return. Selena appeared at 5 am to rob the place again. I decided to restart the game and just let Bertram stop on his own. I didn't want to risk messing up the game. Selena didn't return.

So...speaking of party...Edna had one and invited Selena.
I invited Holly Alto, but Vita came along with her. That's Lisa Bunch-Landgraab going up the stairs.
    Screenshot-1347.jpg

Melonie, stop flirting with the help.
    Screenshot-1349.jpg

Jessica Talon made it. She's the reason for this party.
    Screenshot-1348.jpg

And so is Selena Savage. I laughed when I saw that dress. How bold! And her first action is to wave at Edna.
    Screenshot-1354.jpg

    Oh Jessica...a moment, please.
    Screenshot-1358.jpg

    Our girl is here.
    Screenshot-1361.jpg

Ha. Haley crashed Edna's party. :)
    Screenshot-1362.jpg

I invited this guy for Andrea.
    Screenshot-1366.jpg

Selena wants to take a picture.
    Screenshot-1367.jpg

Probably to add to her wall of victims.
    Screenshot-1368.jpg

"I think you should get to know my friend, Jessica Talon."
    Screenshot-1371.jpg

    This cracked me up.
    Screenshot-1372.jpg

    No worries. She won't bite...tonight.
    Screenshot-1373.jpg

    Then again...
    Screenshot-1374.jpg

This should get the ball rolling.
    Screenshot-1375.jpg

I'll just take over Jessica tomorrow and she'll have Selena in her relationship list.
    Screenshot-1379.jpg

Bertram! The butler made mac and cheese when there is a whole table of food.
    Screenshot-1380.jpg

Now there is a traffic jam.
    Screenshot-1381.jpg

    Fixed.
    Screenshot-1382.jpg

That hair! I can't stand it. Selena is cunning.
She wouldn't show up at a fancy party with hair like that. She'd have extensions so she would fit in.
    Screenshot-1384.jpg

    Yeah, like this.
    Screenshot-1385.jpg

WHAT? Party's over? Wow time just moves too fast. There isn't enough time to really have fun. Jessica, your meal in heels is outta here. :P
    Screenshot-1389.jpg

I think I'd better follow her just to be sure I can find her.
    Screenshot-1390.jpg

    Ah! You live here.
    Screenshot-1395.jpg

Sorry, Andrea. There was no time to get you acquainted with the gentleman.
    Screenshot-1398.jpg

Blame EA. I think I'd better look into that time mod.
    Screenshot-1400.jpg

OK, so I finally get to play with a vampire. It should be fun stalking Selena with Jessica and gaining her trust. I guess I will eventually have to take her over to ask to be turned. That's taking the fun out of it. :P

A funny series of unfortunate events. I don't know why, but I keep rooting for Selena, you have got to admire her dedication, that piano must have kept her in a whole lot of sushi and horizontal stripes.

 You've got to see the latest pics. I'm starting to like Selena myself. I think she makes a great vamp burglar.
Nooooo! I'm rooting for Edna because Good triumphs over Evil... Go! Fight! Win!

I think I did Selena a favor by turning her. :P
Jessica went over and summoned her down.
    Screenshot-1413.jpg

She had an immediate social to turn her, so I tried it out of curiosity. She looked at me like: "What? Now?"
    Screenshot-1415.jpg

I guess it was too early to start asking that.
    Screenshot-1417.jpg

But it didn't take long to get a drink.
    Screenshot-1418.jpg

    Screenshot-1419.jpg

See. That wasn't bad, was it?
    Screenshot-1420.jpg

It wasn't long before she agreed to be turned.
    Screenshot-1422.jpg

    Screenshot-1424.jpg

    Best of friends now.
    Screenshot-1427.jpg

    Screenshot-1428.jpg

Uh oh, the change is starting already.
    Screenshot-1429.jpg

I sent Jessica back the next day to ask her out to the club so I could observe any change effects. I was surprised to see Selena had already become a vampire.
    Screenshot-1430.jpg

    Screenshot-1431.jpg

For some reason both vamps were a bit freaked out by Kaylynn Langerak. I have no idea why.
    Screenshot-1432.jpg

    Screenshot-1435.jpg

A couple of Hemoglobin Shooters, please.
    Screenshot-1434.jpg

    Screenshot-1440.jpg

    Screenshot-1441.jpg

Selena seems to be taking very well to the vampirism.
    Screenshot-1444.jpg

Now it seems like it might be a bad a idea. She would only be a more powerful and dangerous burglar.
    Screenshot-1445.jpg

    Nice technique. :P
    Screenshot-1446.jpg

I wanted to see what the deal was with Kaylynn Langerak, so I had Jessica try some mind powers on her. Jessica was not thrilled.
    Screenshot-1449.jpg

She was thirsty and I wanted to see how Kaylynn would react.
    Screenshot-1450.jpg

    No problem.
    Screenshot-1452.jpg

Strange. I guess their behavior will remain a mystery.
    Screenshot-1453.jpg

Closing time. Selena bailed from the group and went home. I guess she can use her speed running powers to get away even faster now.
    Screenshot-1455.jpg

    Screenshot-1456.jpg

Jessica's ex was waiting out front, playing the guitar. He was booing her while she was playing the piano the other day. It annoyed me so I had her break up with him.

    Screenshot-1457.jpg

    Screenshot-1458.jpg

I'm not sure what to do next. I might leave Selena as she is, but if she tries to rob Edna's house again she's going to wind up in a cage in direct sunlight.

    Random Late Night Happenings
My customization of Bridgeport is done and I can finally start playing it seriously. I'm making copies of the original town to play certain households. I have so many sims I want to play. I really don't know where to start. :)

But I continued on for a bit with Edna Mode.
    Screenshot-1530.jpg

Edna's roommate loves her some Don Lothario.
    Screenshot-1535-1.jpg

    Screenshot-1534.jpg

Forgot to change Don's pajama hair.
    Screenshot-1536.jpg

    Screenshot-1537.jpg

I caught a vampire in the act of turning another sim.
    Screenshot-1547.jpg

Now I'm playing 3 sims that I have been waiting for Late Night to play.
    Screenshot-1549.jpg

    Amy Li.
    Screenshot-1548.jpg

I sent them out for a Ladies Night at P.U.R.E.
    Screenshot-1553.jpg

It turned out to be a true Ladies Night since no guys were there.
    Screenshot-1554.jpg

    Screenshot-1555.jpg

    Screenshot-1556.jpg

I sent Josephine back the next night with a coworker.
    Screenshot-1558.jpg

This time there were plenty of men. Tater has a new friend.
    Screenshot-1561.jpg

    Screenshot-1564.jpg

    My favorite Paparazzo.
    Screenshot-1566.jpg

A third night, the other guys I wanted them to meet were there. I phoned in Coco and Amy to meet their future love interests.
    Screenshot-1568.jpg

    Screenshot-1573.jpg

    Screenshot-1575.jpg

This would have been a great shot except for one little issue. :P
    Screenshot-1668.jpg

Another Paparazzo--Shutter. He shows up everywhere. I took the plastic surgeon's knife to him.
    Screenshot-1533.jpg

I've been griping about some game play details lately, but that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying the game. :)
I've noticed details that I like while observing the other sims. Social interactions have been improved and I think TS3's charm is starting to grow.

I had my sims at the club and I was going to check out what was happening in the other rooms when I heard shrieks. Both my sims had gotten out of their chairs and were going ga ga over Arlo Bunch.
    Screenshot-1593.jpg

He wasn't even a celebrity. (Perhaps a glitch)
    Screenshot-1594.jpg

Then they both turned around and looked at each other as if to say:
    "He's mine!"
    "I saw him first."
    Screenshot-1595.jpg

This was made all the funnier since Arlo Bunch isn't naturally the most attractive sim in town. The teen years:
    Screenshot-391.jpg

Don autonomously interviewing another sim. I wasn't controlling them.
    Screenshot-698.jpg

Melonie Bloom's boyfriend threw a party and I sent my sims. Most parties so far haven't felt like parties, but this one was like a nice social gathering.
    Screenshot-1576.jpg

Melonie was tired, but instead of going to bed she made a cup of coffee and sat down. Another sim sat down and started chatting away like a magpie.
    Screenshot-1577.jpg

Another sim got himself a cup of coffee and joined them.
    Screenshot-1578.jpg

This gave me a little chuckle when the elevator doors opened.
    Screenshot-1033-1.jpg

Now that we have groups I can take impromptu sparring matches to local venues that make more sense.
    Screenshot-1586.jpg

Edna began meditating after she won the matches. I like seeing sims that aren't under my control doing something in character.
    Screenshot-1590.jpg

This guy was checking out the ladies dancing.
    Screenshot-1198.jpg

    His attention on Melonie.
    Screenshot-1199.jpg

But all he did was stand there and look.
    Screenshot-1209.jpg

Which left the door wide open for Mike.
    Screenshot-1206.jpg

I wasn't controlling these sims. This was autonomous. :)
    Screenshot-1207.jpg

I really like the Convince social. It great for starting some mischief or just influencing relationships in the neighborhood.
    Screenshot-1225.jpg

Facial expressions are also well done.
    Screenshot-1221.jpg

Well this didn't take much effort to get started.
    Screenshot-1231.jpg

But you never know who is going to be around and take offense. I found out Eris is a good friend of Melonie's boyfriend--who isn't Mike here.

    I need a Simbot Solution
I was all wrapped up in Bridgeport, but I was beginning to miss the Firenzes.

Any good excuse for a brawl.
Jared Frio kept cutting in on Cairo and Francine.
    Screenshot-1867.jpg

    Enough to annoy me...and Cairo
    Screenshot-1868.jpg

    Screenshot-1870.jpg

Francine isn't one to stand on the sidelines of a fight.Screenshot-1873.jpg

    So...
    Screenshot-1874.jpg

    Screenshot-1876.jpg

    Screenshot-1877.jpg

They had a wish to kiss.
    Screenshot-1878.jpg

I did place a Simbot in Bridgeport, and it was really annoying I removed it after my first incident of one visiting a club.

But I do have my favorite Simbot in Sunset Valley and I was curious to see her dance. She's a Fembot. Simbots are a bit stiff in the area of locomotion, so I thought it would be cool to see her fluid moves.

Problem was her dance skills were still low.
    Screenshot-1708.jpg

So why not send her to the club for some liquid motivation?
    Screenshot-1719.jpg

If I can actually get her a drink.
    Stupid "A Simbot!" reaction. :x
    Screenshot-1720.jpg

I hate this. I really do. But it made me laugh anyway...this time. :P
    Screenshot-1721.jpg

Pull yourself together. It's just a simbot.
    Screenshot-1722.jpg

Might as well try the guy downstairs while the mixologist upstairs gets it back together.
    Screenshot-1723.jpg

Thank you. Another freak out would have used up valuable time.
    Screenshot-1725.jpg

    Bottom's up.
    Screenshot-1727.jpg

    The effect was immediate.
    Screenshot-1729.jpg

What to do...oh, dance on a table top.
    Screenshot-1730.jpg

    Screenshot-1732.jpg

    Ha! There ya go.
    Screenshot-1734.jpg

    Ok...well...I guess I have seen this before...But IT'S A SIMBOT!
    Screenshot-1735.jpg

    A CUTE simbot.
    Screenshot-1736.jpg

    Oh, get off it!
    Screenshot-1737.jpg

    Silly humans!
    Screenshot-1738.jpg

It's enough to make a simbot want to blow things up.
    Screenshot-1739.jpg

    Good idea.
    Screenshot-1740.jpg

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! SIMBOT ON THE RAMPAGE!
    Screenshot-1741.jpg

Malcolm's no fool. He's outta here.
    Screenshot-1744.jpg

    That's anti-climatic. Tiny explosion. *poof
    Screenshot-1745.jpg

    Screenshot-1746.jpg

    Rise of the machines?
    Screenshot-1747.jpg

    No, just a snack.
    Screenshot-1748.jpg

    That was somewhat fun actually.
    Screenshot-1750.jpg

It was worthwhile too. (This shot is going to be my simpage backdrop. :XD: )
    Screenshot-1752.jpg

I had her dance when she got back.
    Hit it, 'bot-girl!

But I'm really tired of Sim reactions to Simbots. I needed a mod.

    "A Simbot!" No More

Ok, that's it. I'm putting in the mod that stops "A Simbot!" reactions.
I didn't realize how much I missed my Fembot, Meaghan.

I was curious to see what happens when a simbot goes hot tubbing.
    Screenshot-1819.jpg

She really didn't want to get in and gave me a very TS2 styled complaint for making her do it.
    Screenshot-1820.jpg

    Screenshot-1822.jpg

    Screenshot-1823.jpg

One accusing glance before going kaput.
    Screenshot-1824.jpg

I had to send over avatar me to fix her. The club was about to close.
The mixologist must have gotten bored and needed to shake her groove thing.
    Screenshot-1828.jpg

    Screenshot-1827.jpg

    Repaired.
    Screenshot-1829.jpg

I get the feeling she really didn't like that.
    Screenshot-1830.jpg

The mixologist doesn't want anything to do with her. How wude!
    Screenshot-1831.jpg

I didn't know about the berserk interaction. I like it. Pure terror for rude simmies.
    Screenshot-1832.jpg

    Screenshot-1833.jpg

    Screenshot-1834.jpg

    Screenshot-1835.jpg

Meaghan had the interaction to brawl with the mixologist, but the "A Simbot!" reaction kept canceling it. I tried 3 times and then the club closed and she had to leave.
    Screenshot-1836.jpg

You are one lucky mixologist. Meaghan is a master of Sim Fu.
    Screenshot-1837.jpg

I'm putting in that mod today. :P
    Darkling wrote:
Shake it, girl, er, fembot! That was too cute to see Meaghan get her groove on. :D

On a sidenote, it's been interesting to see how simbots have been adapting to Bridgeport. While I was playing a different household, I received an invite to a party being thrown by my fembot, Melfina. I went out of curiosity and was surprised to see several other people who were not family members there. I thought the IT'S A SIMBOT reaction would make it impossible for her to interact on such a level but apparently not. The party was lame as houseparties tend to be but there were surprisingly few simbot freakouts. And as an added bonus, the dresscode wasn't swimwear! :P

I've been having bad luck with them in Bridgeport, but they will be making a comeback because I am now modded against "A Simbot!". One last spam of Meaghan pics for the road.

Now modded, it was time to test it out. Cue...que?..., Meaghan:
    Screenshot-1840.jpg

A pleasant walk-up to the club entrance without anyone stopping to freak.
    Screenshot-1847.jpg

How nice. Meaghan gets a friendly wave from Jolina.
    Screenshot-1848.jpg

    Screenshot-1850.jpg

    No issues with the bouncer.
    Screenshot-1851.jpg

    Ah, the perfect test.
    Screenshot-1852.jpg

Hi, Coco. Everyone is so nice. :-o
    Screenshot-1853.jpg

    KTHNXBYE, please.
    Screenshot-1854.jpg

    Service with a smirk.
I guess service with a smile was too much to expect from her.
    Screenshot-1855.jpg

    It's better than the alternative.
    Screenshot-1856.jpg

Time to hit the dance floor. Awesome to walk past a sim with no drama.
    Screenshot-1857.jpg

    :hunf: She looks like trouble.
    Screenshot-1858.jpg

Nah, she just wants to boogie.
    Screenshot-1859.jpg

A Simbot with a dance partner, it's a miracle. Nobody freaking out.
    Screenshot-1860.jpg

    Hey hey hey.
    Screenshot-1861.jpg

    Screenshot-1863.jpg

    Screenshot-1864.jpg

    Screenshot-1865.jpg

    There's a look of gratitude.
    Screenshot-1866.jpg

Thank you, modders for bringing sanity back to my game. 8)

    Let's Get This Story Rolling
Playing around with all these sims has put Melonie and Tater's story on the back burner. They had a little incident with a straggling friend that made me want to get their story going.

I changed homes and found my sim, Melonie, taking a stroll near the Bridgeport bridge. It was 6:00 and she was a little hungry so I decided to send her to my new bar. I clicked on the "send with" button by accident and saw four other sims were available.

    Why not? :)

Well it turns out they were not so nearby.
Emmy Star, Don Lothario, Ethan Bunch, and Elspeth Cook, all came running from their homes. That's Don way back in the distance.
    Screenshot-2081.jpg

It was a wait, but now I was committed since I spent a couple of sim hours already, but I didn't know Elspeth was on the other side of the bridge.
    Screenshot-2082.jpg

    Why was she even considered?
    Screenshot-2083.jpg

3 sim hours, get in the dang car.
    Screenshot-2084.jpg

    They left her.
Well...serves her right for taking so long. She could have taken the train or something.
    Screenshot-2085.jpg

So they arrived at the club a little after 9 pm.
    Screenshot-2086.jpg

    But what...where are you going?
    Screenshot-2087.jpg

Well I guess Elspeth refused to be left behind. She must have taken the subway near the bridge.
    Screenshot-2088.jpg

Wonderful, Ethan has a social disgrace thing going on.
    Screenshot-2089.jpg

I forgot about Melonie's boyfriend, Tater. I found him hanging out at the Diner. He's in the back. A good drummer was also there so I had him join Tater's band. Then I had them group up and head to the bar as well.
    Screenshot-2091.jpg

There was a decent amount of sims there and it wasn't even a hot spot.
    Screenshot-2090.jpg

There wasn't much time to do much other than grab a bite and some energy drinks. Tater got Jun Xu to join his band.
    Screenshot-2092.jpg

I got to see them play a little.
    Screenshot-2101.jpg

Sims started pouring out of the place at 2 am. The doors close at 3 am.
    Screenshot-2093.jpg

Time enough for Tater to chow down.
The new Cressida looks really cute.
    Screenshot-2094.jpg

Melonie and Tater didn't get a chance to interact at all. She looks way too tired now.
    Screenshot-2095.jpg

She give Mike a nice wave as he passes by. There is a fling in store for them, but only after Tater cheats on Melonie.
    Screenshot-2097.jpg

    Ethan got a ride back.
    Screenshot-2098.jpg

:P This was boring actually, but that's what happened. I think I'll check first before I have other sims to group up, at least when my sim is outdoors. It wasn't a bad night out and more happened than that. I just forgot to take more pics while it was going on.

    But first...
    CK213's Top 10 Simming Moments

If it's a memorable moment I probably have it documented in pics. So all I need to do is look back at pictures. Mine aren't really moments, but extended rounds of simming that were just plain fun.

    10: Amy Li's Gift (TS2)
I was playing Amy's mom who was giving Amy's sister a birthday party.
    snapshot_d120cf51_5325642e.jpg

Amy was visiting. Since her mom didn't need the baby stuff anymore I gave it to Amy as a gift.
    snapshot_d120cf51_932565f1-1.jpg

    snapshot_d120cf51_93256616.jpg

    snapshot_d120cf51_73256621-1.jpg

It was so funny to see Amy walking around with baby thought bubbles after she received the gift.
    snapshot_d120cf51_f3256725-1.jpg

I swear she looked a bit shocked by it all.
    snapshot_d120cf51_53256a22-1.jpg

    9: Javy Lupin: Vampire (TS2)
Javy Lupin, single child to A CAS father and a EA default mother. Her parents became werewolves. After they passed, Javi inherited their house and savings, bought a large house and became a vampire. She then began collecting several of the neighborhoods most attractive sims to be her vampire familiars. They took care of the house during the day and kept her amused at night. I had a great time with them all.
    24.jpg

    snapshot_72836a61_f4757d3b.jpg

    snapshot_725326ac_353eacd0.jpg

    8: Edna Mode (TS3)
While considering which one of my sims would become the Stylist for Bridgeport I was hit by a sudden idea: How about Edna Mode as a stylist? Ridiculous. She's so tiny. :P 8) I'll do it!
    The_Incredibles_edna-mode-disneywallpapernet.jpg

I have had so much fun with my young version of E in Bridgeport. And I really enjoyed creating her house.
    Screenshot-327.jpg

    Screenshot-1146.jpg

    7: Grindelwald Dorm (TS2)
I made a huge dorm for TS2 University. It was filled with aspiration and career reward objects that helped my uni students build the skills they needed. It was much more interesting than having them read books.
    26.jpg

Uni became so much more fun while playing in this dorm.
    snapshot_b635e22c_b635f6d6.jpg

I followed it up with a Greek house. My usual approach to Uni was two years in the dorm, two years in the Greek house.
    snapshot_d58b9a57_958b9d5c.jpg

6: Humanized Servos and Simbots (TS2 and TS3)
I'll just throw these two together. I used SimPE in TS2 to turn my metal Servos into Androids. The first thing I did when I got Ambitions was to do the same thing to Simbots. I've been nagging at EA to do this for the longest. Maybe they made it easy to do it or maybe I just got lucky with Twallan's mod, but at least I have them.
    snapshot_b58d4260_959a275c.jpg

Meaghan is my favorite Simbot--especially since I now have a mod that stops "A Simbot!"
    Screenshot-2971.jpg

5: Generations with Velma and Cairo (TS3)
Making up a story as I sim usally makes the game more enjoyable. I had a great time with Cairo, Velma and their family. It makes me feel guilty whenever I play Cairo without Velma in any new games. :P Even more than with Francine.
    Screenshot-2019.jpg

    Screenshot-2430.jpg

    Screenshot-1976.jpg

    Screenshot-2585.jpg

    4: Lisa Bunch (TS3)
Lisa Bunch represents the first time I really began having fun playing TS3. I had a fun story scenario of her being a middle glass sim with upper class ambitions and having Vita Alto taking her under her wing. Vita has her own ambitions and Lisa is her tool.

It all started with story progression moving Miraj Alvi in with the Langeraks to be with Kaylynn. I noticed that Miraj also had Lisa Bunch as a love interest. So I sent him over to flaunt his love in her face. Lisa didn't care much for that and wanted some revenge, so I've been playing her story ever since.
    Screenshot-590.jpg

    Screenshot-593.jpg

    Screenshot-1333.jpg

3: Cosa Nostra and Trevor Syndicate (TS2)
These two were my most maniacal sims ever. They were bounty hunters. I was highly annoyed by trashcan kickers and stalkers in TS2. So whenever a certain sim gave my sim trouble and my sim wanted to see their ghost I would hire Cosa or Trevor to take care of the problem.

I had every intention of bringing Cosa and Trevor over to TS3, but they simply aren't needed because TS3 sims are boring and don't create much trouble. They can barely remember they were slapped a few minutes ago let alone a few days. The "Declare a nemesis" feature is a joke. If they really were a nemesis I would definitely need to employ the services of Cosa and Trevor to deal with them.
    Cosa-Trevor.jpg

    2: Friends (TS2)
Fun, fun fun, and will not be able to do it justice in TS3 due to half-baked apartment living. I made the cast from Friends and had a great time making up my on story lines for the characters. I made Central Perk (something else that can't quite be done in a satisfying way yet.) and their apartment building with Monica and Rachel living across the hall from Joey and Chandler. Ross and Phoebe had their own apartments, Phoebe in another building.

    snapshot_5590c58f_b5a46d46.jpg

    28.jpg

1: The Four Penny Curse (TS2)
This is probably why I am still playing The Sims.
    TFPC-banner.jpg

Before I became a player of the Sims 2 I was mainly a builder. Then I tried stories. The Four Penny Curse was my first serious sim story that became a series. I won't get into the story, but I later went on to play the characters in the game and just enjoyed them so much since I knew their characters from the story. I made them over as children with parents, played them through Uni and then as adults with families of their own.

    Story pics
    snapshot_f06d9bd5_b070c332.jpg

    snapshot_704b40ed_504bde1e.jpg

    Their love interests.
    762713.jpg

I brought them over to TS3 when we got World Adventures, but I couldn't do much with them other than travel.
    Screenshot-2170.jpg

World Adventures was perfect for them and brought features that related to my the original story of these girls. Traits has made that even more so because I can give them personalities to match the story. TS2 couldn't do that.
    Screenshot-2105.jpg

Now with Late Night I can finally start playing them as they were meant to be played. I just wish the dating aspect had more depth.
    Screenshot-1557.jpg

    Screenshot-1573.jpg

    Screenshot-1575.jpg

    Screenshot-1565.jpg

I suspect I will be starting their lives over with each new EP.
    Screenshot-187-1.jpg

So there you have it, CK213's history of simming.

The funny thing is it started out as an annoyance, but since it was something unexpected and out of the ordinary, I found it interesting. This game needs more randomness.

I think I've captured more Jim and Perry. I remember giving them one of the Urbanite buildings to test. I also set them up in a skyscraper apartment. I never got around to giving them a serious play though.

As for Melonie and Tater I thought their Drama Rama was next, but there are still a few other posts coming up. Melonie does have and extended story coming.

    Oopsie. Bye Bye, Beau

I was testing a new lot that I'm going to turn into a working apartment. But first a test for basic livability.

I split up Beau's household and moved out Lilly-Bo, Marina, and Bianca. They all had Beau as a romantic interest. I would have never had known. They all seem to get along together well.
    Screenshot-2113.jpg

So I decided to do a visitor test and invited over Beau just to see if any jealous sparks would occur.
    Screenshot-2114.jpg

I haven't played a vampire in depth at all and didn't take his cries of thirst seriously. I wasn't even thinking about him needing plasma since his thought bubble shows a knife and fork. I think vamps need a thirst thought bubble when they need to drink.
    Screenshot-2117.jpg

    Oh well.
Sorry Beau. Plasma plasma every where and not a drop to drink.
    Screenshot-2119.jpg

    Hi, Grim.
    Screenshot-2120.jpg

Yep, my bad. Though I don't really feel bad since this is a copy of my master Bridgeport.
    Screenshot-2122.jpg

    Oh the humanity!
    Screenshot-2124.jpg

    Whoops, there goes Bianca.
    Screenshot-2126.jpg

    So dramatic.
    Screenshot-2131.jpg

Nice of Grim to clean up the spare ashes.
    Screenshot-2127.jpg

But, he didn't appreciate Lilly-Bo's attempt at humor.
    Screenshot-2136.jpg

Bianca didn't like the music playing during her dramatic faint.
    Screenshot-2132.jpg

    Then she promptly fainted again.
    Screenshot-2133.jpg

Marina is really broken up over this--non-stop crying.
    Screenshot-2138.jpg

Ok, you get the biggest room. Feel better now?
    Screenshot-2140.jpg

I had Lilly-Bo take his remains to the cemetary.
    Screenshot-2144.jpg

There has to be a way to get over the grief she feels while still celebrating Beau's life.
    Screenshot-2143.jpg

    A drum solo. Yeah. :)

I've come back to check this thread again. One of my favorite skills is inventing and I've created many a simbot, both male and female. One of the things that has bugged me is the reaction other sims have to them.

I found a mod at Mod the Sims that is supposed to eliminate that reaction, but I don't think it is working. It hasn't been updated since Pets. I also used to have a mod that made simbots walk normally. Have no clue what happened to that mod.

Now, I want to figure out how to make a simbot look like a sim. Reading all this, I am inspired to try. This is a good thing, because I have a bad case of PEPS for SN and it is a long wait!!!

Thank you! That worked and she is watching a SimFest in the park. No one is reacting to her presence at all!

I am still looking for the mod I remember having that gave simbots a normal way of walking which would make it less painful for me to watch. I don't like the jerky movements.

But, she is really pretty and it is a relief not to have folks making puking gestures towards her.
