So she has her little girl and a boat load of LTR points.
And the father showed up--Richard Irwin.
I took control of Richard to find out more about him and have him propose marriage and perhaps as for Lola to move in if his place was better.
I really like Lola Lancaster and her adult daughter. Both start off the game pregnant. Lola was the first sim I started off playing in Lucky Palms but I think I may switch to her daughter instead. Her daughter is married to a rich elder and she has the gold digger lifetime wish. Thinking maybe of having Lola and her baby move in after he passes on but not sure yet.
It makes me want to investigate the other sims to see what's going on with them. :-o I set about trying the wishing well, since she had no romantic prospects that didn't have complications.
I've been lurking  but your sim moments are pure awesomeness. I am loving Lola's facial expression there LOL she definitely approves!! Its awesome he came with the nurturing trait. Question...have you ever tried out the Daycare career yet? I have yet to try it out. Kinda nervous to try it with my crazy sims, a baby could end up lost.
Lucky Palms is a really great town, and it looks even better with all your lots.
I've been playing Emi Irwin, Richard's former wife. She's a blast. Story Progression broke them up, so my Sim Taylor swooped in and grabbed her up. She's one of those Sims that looks good without really needing any editing, besides a new hairdo. ;P
"It's like there's a pink elephant in the room and no one's allowed to talk about it."
Even though there are still some things I want to add or edit around Lucky Palms, I'm starting to get caught up in the lives of my sims.
Lola and her husband made a wish for wealth at the wishing well and used the money to gamble at the casino. Her husband also received a new car. That made moving out of the poor side of town easy.
They didn't have enough money for the really nice homes, but they had enough for my apartment building.
The views of the environment out the windows are great. Setting does a lot for your mood wild playing.
I decided to visit the neighbors in the building.
I also checked the doorbell at the entrance. There are 23 sims living in this building for some reason.
Mixologist on her way to work.
But there was still some work to do around town. The build objects were giving me some great inspiration.
The build objects they chose to add made it seemed like EA had crawled into my brain.

To many house test sims. The town sort of got me curious about the acrobat career for some reason. I sent my Diesel sim in--Finch, from Just Shoot Me. AKA David Spade.
I'm supposed to be playing him in Bridgeport, but I was starting to have a lot of fun with him as an acrobat in Lucky Palms. I think he was too.
I'm still involved with playing Mom instead of a stylist.
But now that potty, walking, and talking training is over, it was time to age her up. This is actually my first IF too.
A bunch of pics, so I think a slide show is in order.
A weekend for my sims after a Friday night fire. I sent them out for a family outing at my video arcade. Games, took some photos with the kid, and then sent them out to the diner for a bit. Unfortunately their daughter somehow failed to get in the car. I simply sent her home to eat leftover pizza.
I then turned the evening into a parent's night out. They went gambling and did very well while their daughter played with her imaginary friend and worked on her potions skill.
Question...have you ever tried out the Daycare career yet? I have yet to try it out. Kinda nervous to try it with my crazy sims, a baby could end up lost.
Great job!!
If I helps, I tried it(: What I did was make a room filled with atleast three cots, lots of toys, baby chairs, etc. and then put all the kids in there, then lock the door to only household so that they can't get out. Thnjust unlock when their parents come(:

The day care career scares me.
I don't think I could handle it.
Perhaps I will try it one day.
My stylist is moving out of her apartment to a new home I built next door. They get to test it.
I noticed Luck Palms has a community garden. I have one built by a simmer that I like to use, but it's big and looks a bit odd in a desert town. I thought it would be fun to put it under a dome.
I'll assume the dome has some special glass that really cuts down the heat.
I also moved the science lab closer to town and put it next to the dome.
I'm not sure how I feel about horses running all around town, but I like this one.
Perhaps the parents?
Never mind the horsies though, I built a new house.
I liked the pier house so much I created another home in the same style.
The Maniacal Joy of Raising an Evil Child? I didn't report what happened when I play-tested the Lucky Palms Pier house.
This is why I play-test homes. :P
I replaced the wood floor for nice stone flooring, but even that burns in The Sims universe.
So I gave up on having a fireplace on the deck. It's the desert anyway.
This will be more fun to play, although fires can be exciting.
I couldn't resist giving the wishing well a try, plus a child could help test the house.
I've never raised a child with the evil trait. But I've inherited one thanks to the wishing well. Now that I have her, what should I do with her? Any one out there no how best to enjoy their evil ways? Or are they limited like most other children.
The process of getting one was hysterical to me.
\
"Why are you dressed like that? It's not like you're 21 anymore."
"Don't get mad. It's the trashy truth."
"You think I want to be seen with you dressed that way?
Now let's go to the store and buy you some real mom's clothing."
You're so evil, Cathleen.
It's probably best to get on her good side.
Kids like pillow fights.
"That's was..."
"Oof!"
I think that's the: OMG, what have I gotten myself into, look.
I'm like Darkling, the "It's not like you're 21 anymore" comment almost made me spit my coffee on monitor.
I had and evil child before and basically their almost like all the rest. Just let her troll the forums once in awhile and steal some candy from a couple of babies and she'll be happy. Oh and the Emperor of Evil LTW comes into play here I believe. :P
I'm finding her to be a little disappointing so far. :P
Didn't TS2 children have the ability to destroy their doll house, or be mean to teddy bears?
Thank goodness for Generations. At least she can pull off some pranks.
I think she's going to be pranking her mom a lot.
Edit* Mom didn't care for that.
There is going to be a lot of punishments as well as pranks.
Hmmm...nice equipment shipping case coffee table.
Brainstorm coming on. 8)
Wait for it...
Time to resurrect an old sitcom.
I think I'll make Elliot and give him Diesel clothes and furniture. Photography career of course. Also make Maya, Finch, Jack, and Nina and set them loose in Bridgeport.
I swear it's frustrating trying to make sims of real people in CAS. Can't get the face thin enough, the jaw width narrow enough, the chin square enough without widening the jaw... :P
But I gave Finch a try. I'll put him in the Sim bin for now. :P
I need to figure out traits though.
I think I might go with:
-Schmoozer
-Flirty
-Inappropriate
-Ambitious
Not sure about the 5th yet.
I'm going to have a collection of Just Shoot Me wannabes.
I finished Elliot, but not happy with him either. :P
Oh well, best I can do.
Maya Gallo.
It's not possible to give her the short forehead she really has. Sliders don't allow it.
My opinion on this stuff pack?
There are items that I love, but I wish there was more furniture. This is hurt further by stencils on the furniture objects that you can't change. We're stuck with them and that really hurts the flexibility of this pack. Mods can fix that however. My opinion has been updated and I'm finding myself more pleased with the pack.
Anyway, I moved Elliot into the apartment I planned for him to have.
Edna Mode's partner in fashion was standing outside.
No time for Divas, must check out the furniture.
I like it, but there were some minor disappointments.
I don't mind the stencil design on the table as much, but the texture is not as sharp as I would like. It would have been so much better if we had a choice of textures for the top.
I still like the table as well as the chairs.
Not enough furniture for my liking though. Yeah the focus is clothing, but a few more furniture items would have helped.
A case in point:
You may have noticed that Elliot is sitting on a base game sofa. That's because there is no Love Seat version of the Diesel sofa.
That coffee table is what attracted me to this SP in the first place. I like it.
His little brother.
Color as you like.
The other coffee table. I wish there was a simple glass version. We're stuck with that stencil.
I wasn't sure about this chair. It just seems a bit cheap and flimsy looking, but it's growing on me. Perhaps it's just the texture on it.
CASt can fix that I think.
I do not like this bed at all.
We can't change the bed covers.
The only thing I could do was layer another design on top of the stencil, but you can still see the stencil through it. I doubt I will ever use this thing because I don't like the stencil.
Update:
I looked up the overlay/ Stencil remover mod from velocitygrass at modthesims. That did the trick and I didn't need to keep the mod. Once I saved recolors I could edit them as I liked without the mod. Might be good to clear your cache files if you do.
I like the lamps. The remind me of photography lighting in an iconic way. That and the equipment case coffee tables gave me the idea for creating the Just Shoot me cast.
Caught up with Maya. Yeah, she was reading a book.
Nice pants.
Now to get a job in Journalism. Careers might be a little tough for these guys. No fashion magazine career. Elliot can be self employed as a photographer. I guess Finch and Jack Gallo can be employed in Doopeas in the business career, putting them in the same building with Maya. I don't know what to do with Nina. Movie studio rabbit hole I guess.
Might as well pick up the others and show off more clothes.
Good, Nina is home.
Now to pick up the guys.
That dress is better than I thought. It looked like a granny dress on the Quxxn video.
I bet Nina is heading for the hot tub in the backyard.
Only Finch is here, dressed in a new hoodie outfit.
Poking fun at Maya.
Anyway, lets go out. There is a Simfest underway.
Yep, in the hot tub.
I feel fine about the furniture now that I can recolor most of it.
Simfest at Tribal.
Well well, Finch. There's your celebrity girl.
Who has no time to stop for you.
Great. Elliot is here!
And I better snap a picture of this Simfest participant before she changes clothes.
Two more Dieselites.
Good, I can add him to the group.
Finch! Walking across her stage. :P
Looks like it's going to be a magic act.
Which Dennis Finch has no interest in.
Nor Elliot
It's really bugging me that I can't get her to look more like TV Maya.
There's got to be something I can do.
Square up the jaw, spread out the eyes, angle the eyebrows, new hair?
Nor you, Lisa king. She's really angry about that.
Angel Food cake for Finch.
No Salad for Nina?
Cheese Steak? Oh....Tofu Cheese Steak.
I don't know why I bothered to have them eat outside. There are four of them. They aren't going to eat together. It might have been faster to eat inside.
What? They're all heading to the same table. Formula for disaster. :P
Sorry, this is the first time I've ever had 4 sims sit at the same table and eat together at a bistro.
Maya: "You inhaled that Nina! When was the last time you ate?"
Nina: "Oh...about three days ago I think, not counting the Tic Tacs."
Now she looks like Maya. :P
Careful, Finch. I think that kid has it in for you.
Did you pay the paperboy?
Ah! Another Diesel clad townie.
He has attitude to spare.
Wow, Nina! Mean much?
Oh, that's right. She dislikes children.
"Geez! What'd I do to you, lady?"
Finch steps in to make things better.
"I'm sorry, I tend to turn vicious after a meal."
It was funny seeing them do this. I only have control of Maya.
Lisa King: "Ok, but maybe you should eat more carbs and have wine with dinner."
Nina: "Young lady, you are talking my language...well, about the wine anyway."
Finch is pure comedy relief.
Sooooo many pictures. I want to play more. Let's hit a club.
DataHead has nominated you as a person who may be interested in joining our team. I see that you like to create houses and sims, would doing this for a request team be something that you might enjoy doing? If so, please check out our hiring thread and let me know.

Hmmm, I build so sporadically and only what I feel like building, I probably wouldn't be a good fit. Thanks though.
Simscura: Le Cirque The Sims 3 Store Team seems determined to fill my Consignment store up with odd and curious objects.
The Le Cirque set is giving me more objects for my oddities consignment store.
Those posters caught my eye right away because they would be perfect for the store front.
Original.
Le Cirque Esprit- Muscles Mascardo and his Band of Misfits Wall Posters.
Also the Le Cirque Esprit- Dramatic Entrance Double Doors.
"Hello, Muscles."
I was having a difficult time lighting the cashier area for some reason.
The Le Cirque Esprit- Bright Lights Carny Pillars brightened things up.
Several objects mixed in this area.
Never Forget Elephant Sculpture, Knife Thrower's Table, Mystic's Table Shade, The Show Must Go On Wall Poster, and the mermaid poster from Marcardo's misfits.
I had an old china cabinet here.
I like the Oddities Etc. Wall Display better. The Fabulous Flourish Wall Art plaque is next to it. I also plopped in an elephant from the India collection.
Another Misfit hidden behind bigfoot.
And this mainly for how it looks.
At least the game makes an attempt to keep to the theme. I just wish the music was more mystical.
These are great for when my sims bring the kids along. The circus music they make is a plus for Simscura.
The crystal ball and other magic items are still the main attractions.
aww, hope you still update this
your stories have inspired me to start my own, based on the flowers in the attic series. doubt it'll get many followers but worth a shot, eh? btw where did you get maya's hair, I love it.

I'm sure more interesting things will happen with my sims. And with Supernatural and Seasons coming, I'm certain of it.
As for the hair, I tried Simport with Showtime only once. The simport failed, but I got a whole bunch of CC from the sim I was suppose to host. That hair was part of it. So much for simport not giving us CC.
I think EA fixed the issue after that. The CC was actually kind of nice. I got three not-too-shabby hair styles.

Judging from that expression, he'll do.
Nurturing trait.
Hi CK thanks for the add.

Time to put in Finch. I'll have him share the apartment with Elliot--dressed in his Diesel T and jeans.
"Well hey there, neighbor, don't you brighten up the neighborhood."
"I live across the bay"
"Cool! That's where all the celebrities live. I..."
"...won't be seeing you anytime soon, will I?"
"No. You won't"
"But you can have this."
"There was a fine lovely waiting outside for a little Finchin', Elliot."
"She shot you down, Finch."
"How can they be so cruel? She knew I thought I was getting her number. She just gave me her autograph."
Cool furniture lightens the mood.
I think I will have fun with these two in Bridgeport.
I still have to make Nina. I might give her and Maya separate apartments.
Nina Van Horn finally joins them.
Check the outfit.
This is the only hair I have that has a widow's peak. It will do for Nina.
Looking a little more like Cher here.
Dennis has another outfit to add to the wardrobe. And Andrea is calling him on the phone?
Why you lucky charmer, you.
But this call has to end or he may automatically become a celebrity.
Pants.
Now to find a hotspot and pick up Maya and Nina. Elliot gets the sports jacket.
And of course Maya isn't home.
But Nina is.
She looks a little more like Nina here.
Aquarius is the hotspot tonight.
I thought I made over Hemlock. :P
Must feed everyone first.
Nina: "Yeah, the models all got food poisoning at the Mizrahi show. Apparently, they shared a bad shrimp."
Dennis Finch going down in flames with Jun Xu.
Nina found a drink.
There ya go. She's alive now.
Diesel clothes for everyone.
That's progress, Finch.
Nina: "So where is Maya?"
Elliot: "I don't know...probably somewhere reading a book."
Katelyn Missoni. Sorry, it's so dark on the roof of Aquarius. I need more lights.
Time to change venues. I'll just add Jun to the group for Finch.
"How about Wayland's Haunt?"
This is where the Diesel sims are.
I could see Finch being with Lilly-Bo, so could Finch...well, no, he simply sees Lilly-bo.
That's the proper way to create a woman.
Darn it. I missed the wild ride.
Well at least she still looked stylish.
Finch.
Hey, what happened to my drink stirrers?
The back of the Diesel Dress.
And with the Diesel text removed by giving it the same color as the dress. A bit plain though.
Jessica Talon is out.
Yep party is over. Everyone is bugging out.
"'Night, Nina."
I wish sims could have the option of dropping off a date or a group member at home.
She's on her own.
:P Only covered a small group of clothing. I was too busy playing to get pictures of a few of the sims in the Haunt.

I don't know why I bothered to have them eat outside. There are four of them. They aren't going to eat together. It might have been faster to eat inside.
What? They're all heading to the same table. Formula for disaster. :P
See! Now Finch's food is going to disappear.
       !!!!!!
O...M...G!
Let's hit a club.
...in another post. :XD:

DataHead has nominated you as a person who may be interested in joining our team. I see that you like to create houses and sims, would doing this for a request team be something that you might enjoy doing? If so, please check out our hiring thread and let me know.

Hmmm, I build so sporadically and only what I feel like building, I probably wouldn't be a good fit. Thanks though.
I still love the black light effect
The only way you'll see facial hair on Dennis Finch.
Interesting. Now she looks like Maya.
Lisa King's mom in Diesel wear. Maybe that's why Lisa was so angry?
"Hey, Nina. This bar isn't self-serve."
"Well, they should put up a sign or something."
Might as well top off with energy drinks.
The other three are free to do what they want since I have no control of them.
More Diesel. This one look particularly grungy.
"Maya, only four? What are you and the guys going to drink?"
"Oh...what was I thinking, Nina?"
"Yeah, that's only primer for Nina."
"I'm going to the dance floor upstairs."
Nina is primed.
What are you up to, Dennis?
"Ever thought about modeling?"
"Me?"
"Yeah, you. You should let me take some shots of you."
"Woo! Party!"
Lisa's mom seems interested in this guy.
"He's just standing there. Maybe he wants to talk to me."
"Perhaps he's shy. Maybe I should approach him? But how? What should I say?"
"Finch..., are those your trunks on the ground?"
"Oh my gawd! Sit back down!"
I thought this guy was a bouncer in one of the other clubs. Shouldn't he be working? Anyway, another Diesel T, 55DSL.
"Oh good grief! He's one of the paparazzi. It figures."
"The things I put up with for a little celebrity."
Gotta do a little karaoke.
Funny to watch, but painful to the ears.
"Oh my gosh, could you put muzzles on them?"
"I'm not with those banshees."
Wow, it isn't that far off from wailing and howling.
Finch: "Do you normally pay straight guys to dance with you?"
Bouncer: "It amuses me."
Finch: "Whatev', I'll amuse myself with the simoleons."
"That friend of yours, is he available?"
"Elliot? umm, no. He only dates supermodels...of the female variety,
and so do I."
"I don't see you as the supermodel type."
Finch: "What? What makes you say that?"
Elliot: [Chuckles] "Finch."
]
"Nice catch, Dennis. I need to hang out with you."
"Nina, no talkie. I'm on the clock."
"Ok, pal, if you keep leaning in like that, my pay rate is going to escalate."
"Really? How much?"
"Maya, I find your eyes fascinating. They are so far apart."
"Oh..., thanks?"
Ooh, another Dieselite.
And the guy from Aquarius is here.
Nice.
I take it the bouncer was amused and Finch has more simoleons to spend in the video arcade.
It's late, and time to send them home.
"Night, Maya."
"G'night, Finch"
And that's it for the Diesel clothes. I'm sure I missed some items.
Now I have to figure out how to play these guys.
I think I might have Finch pursue Andrea, the celebrity. Hook up Elliot and Maya, but I'm not sure about Nina. I guess I can play her in another save.
Ha. It uploaded.
It didn't the first time I tried.

Let me know how it works for you.
The table recolor is now up.

Some additional shots since the ones from Aquarius were so dark.
Thanks, and thanks for commenting.
So many pictures on one page slows the page.
The Sims 3 Store Team seems determined to fill my Consignment store up with odd and curious objects.
Got in a little extra tweaking. It's nice what a few extra objects can do.

Uploaded.
A very special thanks to Katlyn2525 for the various gifts. :-)
And with that, I've finally caught up with my current simming. Posts will probably be a lot slower from now on.
your stories have inspired me to start my own, based on the flowers in the attic series. doubt it'll get many followers but worth a shot, eh? btw where did you get maya's hair, I love it.
