I created a temporary fix for this myself. Will upload after testing....
My first mod. Whoa.
*some time later*
Ok, it works.

Put the file in your documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/mods/packages/ folder.
Tutorial here:

The problem comes from the racing skill reaching level 10. When you do it changes the animation to the 'fastest'(read 'broken') one. I simply changed it so the animation wouldn't appear until level 11 ie when pigs fly.
The mod changes the 'racing' xml. Check with Delphy's Dashboard for conflicts.

Is this page easier? http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Setup_and_Files
1. Make sure your game is patched. It probably is since you've got pets...
2. Download the framework (the 'mods' folder) and extract it and then place it in your 'documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/' folder. Then put my file in the 'documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/mods/packages/' folder.
3. Delete the cache files from your 'documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/' folder(Here they are: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/01/faq-delete-your-cache-files.html Very useful page)
4. Start your game and test it.
5. I hope it works. :P
You're welcome.
On an other note, Nona's Sims have created a mod that makes the jumping and racing challenges very easy and it conflicts with my mod. Luckly she added the fix to her mod.
No. I use both myself.
Thx.
It's damaged?! What said that? *will re-upload just-in-case*
Edit: Done. New link posted. See if it works now.
It was Winrar that gave me the error that it was a damaged file :-(. I even tried it on my other comp with a different program and it still gave me the same error. I will download the new link though and see what happens...let me know where the link is and I will go download it right away :-). Thanks again for this, I am excited to have my horses running normal again.

It's funny because I can find it no problem.
What about now?

The new one you posted works.
That's good.
