WELCOME TO CYCLE 3!
The PerfectShot is a contest that I have developed focusing on the quality and photo conception. I was inspired by the magazine recruitments and some of the other contests. This contest may be a bit different than the other contests you have typically entered. The contest focus is on your ability to capture a photo/screenshot of your model. Of course editing and a beautiful model helps, but it is not the entire picture. My intent is to develop a fun, creative, and simple competition where anyone who plays sims can join.
This is also a very light competition. So if you are already in multiple comps feel free to join!

Quality wise this photo is done very well. One spot on the bow that could have been fixed is the only thing I see out of the entire picture. The photo is very clean and simple. But to simple. There was a lot of room for creativity in this assignment. The fountain and pose are really elegant and very nice ideas. Developing the scene just a hair more and her outfit would have made this score higher (although you did not do too bad).

I enjoy that you had a specific look and theme with this photo. This is a photo that would very well be in a modeling portfolio. The photo is classy, elegant, and has lots of depth. The only main issues here are the purse in hand.. and the choppiness around her skin. Black and Whites are notorious for bringing out those pixelated edges. The purse a bit of rotating or a clutch may have fit in better. Overall very nice... and you should be proud of the photo, even with the minor editing touch ups, this is still a very well together photo.

This photo is very simple.. but it is laid out so well and taken at an angle that makes the simplicity very artistic. Your model looks gorgeous! Only two minor things.. the white glow on the keys is a bit distracting under your model and her skin has some pixelation (Black and whites show this more than regular in game shots). This is a very classy photo very well done Maez!

Wow this is put together nicely! The fan and outfit go really well together. The patterns in the chair also give such an amazing artistic as black and white! Just 2 small issues you have a bit of joint pinching with the pose in that fan arm... I think the black and white saved you a little bit form this being an over powering issue... as it did mask the pinch a good bit. Last little issue is in the pose itself with a bit of distortion in the dress. I do love the pose and the dress... separately.. but some poses just stretch clothing. This was not a big issue.. but did add a little distortion. Overall very lovely photo.

Great job Bina! This is a very cute, playful, and artistic entry! The lighting effects also really work with her pose and the candles. Only deduction is for the pixelation in her tutu and hair. Black and whites make this much more noticeable. Congrats you won the assignment! Very lovely entry!
Overall
Everyone did very well with this assignment. Black and White photos are generally harder to keep very high quality on as the pixelation and rough edges tend to pop out. My general advice is to smudge before conversion and do lighting effects. Then convert and touch up.. sometimes doing lighting effects after for some reason bleaches the whites making them glow all sorts of crazy.
(this is one of my better scoring black and whites)

What's this Unbound thing I'm seeing like EVERYWHERE?
Not till that assignment rolls up
I will put you down!
Its an alternative and player ran forum site..
This competition will be on both this forum and unbound!
That's really neat. I've seen the banners everywhere, and was kind of curious. Thank you for answering my question!
And yay, added! Whoo! It'll be a lot of fun to get a genuine portfolio together.
and if your a beginner at competitions this is a good one... I actually aim my assignments to a level for anyone to compete.. So do not feel like you are forced to edit/download cc... I encourage people to try and learn.. but if you have any questions just feel free to ask!
I'm definitely a beginner. I've only entered one comp ever and it hasn't even started yet. But I've lurked for a bit, and played around with my pics before I even knew what editing was. I'm just worried that I'm gonna screw something up haha.
This looked really laid back so I thought it would be another good comp for me to try and get my feet wet in. I'll definitely keep that in mind about the questions, I bet I'll have a lot of them once the comp starts. I hope I don't end up bugging you asking you things.
I try to get on once a day! sooo go ahead and bug me
Oh, awesome then!
I'm going to try to be active, but I'm used to lurking so we'll see lol.
I joined that Unbound place. It's pretty cool!
YEAH!!
