Flip That House - Sell Sunset Valley

We all know that low-budget housing is necessary in all towns to get people started, and for young adults moving out. On the other hand such housing costs your Sims more than money. The enviornment hampers their ability to achieve at the top levels of performance, and it leaves for unsightly neighborhoods. :D

When you start a family of Sims in a low-budget house, have them sink a little money into remodeling the house along the way. Not big things, but use a little money out of each paycheck to buy a bush or something. Save money for bigger expenses like a fence, or replacing siding. Slowly upgrade the appliances, and interiors until you have a substatial investment. Train your Sims along the way to be "handy around the house".

They get a good return on the house when they sell and move to a bigger one. They have a more enjoyable time while in the current house (perform better and have better moods). New families are encouraged to move in (Story Mode) when you sell. And if the the house is too expensive for a single young adult to move in, tweak it a little more and get a roomie.

Sometimes you just need a few slobs though.
