Ed, Have you been able to recover your CAW files for this yet?
If not. Do you have a log in over at TS3 Creators Consortium Drop me a PM there.

Is there a way to upload my current world?

    Hi, ehaught.

Yes~ there is but you'll have to use S3pe to open it and all. Check out mts... there's lots of info there.

Hi Rflong7! It is good to hear from you! Thanks for the answer to my question. I am interested in uploading my current world to the Exchange because I have had so many requests to do so. I visited MTS but did not have any luck finding info about it. Could you possibly point me in the right direction? I would surely appreciate it.

I would be happy to help you-even if this is a touchy subject for me. You do deserve to have your world uploaded. So, There are three people here who know how to do it easily ~ Drowssap, MrCrumplebottom, and Stw402(?).

    Here's a jumping off point: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=416989

    Stw hangs out here: http://builders.forumotion.net/caw-library-f35/?sid=e87039d9a4818a11e11329c82c9cdc4e?sid=e87039d9a4818a11e11329c82c9cdc4e?sid=8eb4f62f529f9d01538924db3477f529

Mr.Crumplebottom shows up now and then here. :)

    Good luck...

Ed, thanks for reposting this. After a long break, I purchased the last couple of expansion packs & stuff pack and am doing a clean install on my game - would have been very upset to find that Fort Sim had been deleted (although I think I saved a backup copy of it, wouldn't want to test that theory and find out I'm wrong!)

Will be adding Fort Sim (again) once I get "settled" in my new game. Good to see you again! :)

I have bookmarked this.It looks like you are working on what I'm looking for in a world.

I downloaded Fort Sim,and all additional lots needed(recommended everything)all seems to be going very well.I will keep checking in to download any additional lots you create for this world.I have not explored every inch of it that will probably take a few sim generations which is about one of the highest compliments I can give you, because that means my sims will always have things to do.

Love the new Exec. Lounge. I think I will delete the refridgerators though, because sims keep bring soup to the club instead of ordering from the bar. I rec'd :)

I absolutely LOVE this world, I love everything about it, and check back regularly to see if any new lots are ready to be added to it. After having to reinstall on an unrelated matter this is the ONLY custom world I use and swear by. Your world is amazing and your lots are fantastic, especially for having no custom content. If you created an expansion pack alone I would stop at nothing to have it. Your hard work and dedication to detail and realism is second to none. Thanks Ed!

Oh and also excited to see what you do with this world now with the added late night expansion. Are you intending to urbanize this little community or...? Either way I can't wait!

Hi Ed, not sure if this is the appropriate forum for it, but I just wanted to share with you something I've been working on using your Fort Sim and another world created by another talented member here by the name of Rflong7.

As taken from her Winter Wonderland thread:
Also as much as I love the Christmas theme of this world, I loved the Winter theme more, so I have spent the last few days tweaking the world to my liking. I'm not sure how you feel about that but I loved your world so much I couldn't not play it! It just so happened I incorporated several of the buildings made by one of my favourite creators for TS3 Ehaught from the forums here. Using works from his world Fort Sim I meshed the two together, and added a few of my own, now I have a Fort Sim/Winter Wonderland world I am playing and I've got to tell you, I simply adore the background you've created. I haven't been so excited to play a world since... well Fort Sim came out! Thanks again to you and all your wonderful contributors.

If you're curious, this is what I've come up with:

    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW1.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW6.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW2.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW3.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW4.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW5.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW7.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW8.jpg
    http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p410/zednug/WW9.jpg

I'm not sure if this breaks rules or whatnot but I just wanted to show you some versatility you may not have considered when you make your buildings. I thought I'd show you so you can see how much I personally enjoy your work. Anyway, hope that's okay. Cheers, and thanks again for all your amazing work

    Dear Ed,

I cannot say enough to convey my immense happiness with Fort Sim. I have been playing it for several days now and I just had to come look up this thread and give it a huge KUDOS bump to the top of the list of CAW forum because this player created world is one of the BEST ever (right up there with Cornucopia and Neverglade for tops).

I highly recommend this world to anyone looking for a solid, well built, interesting world with plenty of variety in houses, lots and public venues to explore and live in with your favorite sims!

I have just added a building (for the PX - post exchange bookstore/consignment) to the one blank lot you left in the Fort Gnome military base. I copied your mess hall building and remodeled the inside for continuity of the military look. I love love love how you enclosed it in a wall and put small lots for barracks housing. I have made 4 sets of 8 single young adult sims (2 groups of males, 2 groups of females) for the four barracks, which are appropriately named Company A, B, C and D! They are all randomly rolled sims (for traits and looks) and its become a 'challenge' of sorts to see which groups will make it in their military careers and which sims will drop out and move on to other pursuits in the Fort Sim community. (some of them rolled couch potato, slob, loser etc, so I don't see them making it to astronauts or fighter pilots haha). I do use Awesomemod and its "Bless Household" function so I can control 4 separate households at once... but it works great for this military barracks challenge!

I am considering making a blog of it and if so, I will post a link to you so you can see your Military base and Fort Sim town in action!

I will keep an eye out for new lots you create. I am particulary interested in some residential houses for the other side of the river walk (across from the coffee house, club, etc). I am a fledgling builder and do not have your skills in building something on a hillside the way you did your commercial lots. Do you have plans to make some nice riverfront condos and houses?

Again, thank you SO much for all your hard work and creativity on this custom world. It's absolutely fabulous. I hope you'll get it uploaded to the Exchange soon so others can share in its awesomeness and it will be the top recommended world I'm sure!

What I love most about FS is that you left so many empty lots to make use of future EPs, yet it still doesnt look overcrowded or crammed together. Ive been thinking of creating some of my townhouses for your riverwalk, but I just havnt had the time. Maybe Ill try starting one tonight. :)
And im always checking back here or your sim page as well, to see if you built any new lots. We need a vampire club because their starting to appear in FS! lol

    Hi again~ :)

Remember- save it under a new save name (world name won't matter). Fix the two blue lots by deleting them and test it well.
I am a novice at it.

Thanks RavynLeeBourdon! I really do appreciate the pictures. That is so cool! I have never seen another world with my lots in it. And rflong7's worlds are the greatest. Nice choice. The snow really adds to it. Thanks for sharing that with me. :D

Is there something that i need to download to put them in or something? Or am i the only one that this has happend too? Either way its not a deal breaker i still love your world :)

I already did it. You need to open them and save it to a new name. :)

    Hi Rflong7,

I got the download and I really appreciate your help. I will work on it over the Christmas break. As the technician for my school, they have kept me hopping with all of the Christmas programs going on and I have not had much time to do the fun stuff. I will fill you in on my progress as I go along. :D

This is just an assumption, but it's probably a spawner effect which needs to be picked up and put back down to get the effect he made it as.

I had the same problem with pigeons on Coconut Island. It was written correctly in CAW, "Pigeonwalkingfive" but when I went to test it in game they were showing up as fog (even with the name still "Pigeonwalkingfive"). I had to go into the lot, pick up the effects spawner and place it back down for the pigeons to pop in.

I'm not sure what to do if the spawners are on the world map and not in a lot. Is that how you did the waterfalls ehaught?

There isnt a lot on top of the waterfall so it must be in the world itsself.
