Horror textures uploaded

Ok so for everone that has been asking me to upload my horror textures, here they are. Keep in mind that the mountain texture that everyone seems to want is actually a combination of four textures mixed together. The one extreamly dark texture is a shiny texture that was used to add an effect to the mountains. I will leave you guys to figure out what works best with what. Naturally some blend better over others than the reverse. The blood splatterd textures have mates to go with them so that you don't have to tile blood all over the place, and the scratched texture was used for an industrial area. I didn't change the names...sorry.

This is a shot of some of the mountain work done with the textures

No problem, I hope they can help add a bit of variety. I really like the rock textures because they can be used in so many different ways it all depends on how you want to layer them. They will have to layer to look right though, I don't think there is a single one that looks good alone. I designed them to work together to create different rock types in the hills themselves. Hence the "vein" textures that are meant to be rock bases.

Oh, these are lovely. I'm kind of a texture freak, and I love playing around with a new palette.

Do you mind if I link to this thread on my Terrain textures thread? You can look at it, it's on my sig.

Much happys now. Is it possible do you think for me to make textures that have see through bits so I don't need to make a texture for each thing I want underneath? I don't know if Targa or DDS support transparency, though?

Tested it. DDS supports transparencies, CAW doesn't. You just get the partial transparency taken away and replaced with full opacity and then a black background. Fun.
